want to fill these with a modified sog white widow grow
will be in 5 inch 1 gallon containers with coco and perlite as the medium
im going to link the three things im probably going to buy and give ur comments as such
High Tech Garden Supply the light
High Tech Garden Supply the tent
High Tech Garden Supply the fan....will this be enough...the room will be a nearly perfect temp once the summer is over.........so i just need circulation from the room into the box and out of the box where my main fan will exhaust it

Get a 400w lumatek switchable MH/HPS and vented hood and fan for less and get better results.

Here is the proof YouTube - LED Marijuana Grow

Those leds are a complete waste of money. CFL's would do way better and cost a fraction of what that does.

Junk, just junk...

i know what u mean
maybe ill just get 2 2foot t5s and be done with it.........im not sure
and they cost half as much but use twice as much electricity

the UFO costs what 400.00 dollars and yield isnt as good as CFL or HID it would take a couple years to make up the difference in cost of electricity and yield loss going with LED
i say run like hell from the LED go with t5 or enviro 125 actual watt CFL if you are dead set agains HID

i personally run a 1000watt light in that exact same tent with a cool tube hood with 424 cfm fan pushing air out of the tent thru a carbon filter with passive intake.

my inlet temp is 68 so i am luck in that sense or i would need to AC my inlet air
but my tent sits right at 76 degrees

if i am picking up correctly what you are trying to accomplish with the LED its keeping temps down..
that being the case my veg setup uses 125 actual watt CFL that sits in a hood just like any other HID and it puts off almost zero heat .
matter of fact i dont move the hood up untill my mother plants are damnn near touching it
the t5 4' 4 tube fixture is also a very nice option
the light output on them make them an excellent choice and once again they dont produce nearly as much light as the HID

what kind of yield do u get every 8 weeks from the 1000 watt tent grow?
curious about that.....per plant means nothing....its per watt that matters

from what ive read the best growers in the world get a gram per watt of hps per grow
so that being said 1000 watts means 1000 grams per grow .....although i guess 10 weeks is a better estimate...33 ounces per grow is perfect
personally im not even close to that good.....im at maybe .6 grams per watt so i have much work to do

this would be determined by how many plants you were actually going to grow. with a 1000w system use a 5 ft footprint a glass lens, vent the light's heat outside, keeping the ballast separate from the tent, you could do very well for yourself. dwc gets lb per plant... food for thought

u can flower a 5 foot by 5 foot tent with a 1000 i would guess
i dont have the power to run that thing......

yield from a 1000 watt light in my particular tent is not on par with the gram per watt as i simply dont have room far that many plants in the 39 x 39 tent.
1 gram per watt would be 1000 grams about 2 and a quarter pounds
and my yield is only about a pound and a quarter.
that being said the 400 or 600 watt lights would give just as good of performance.
i bought the 1000 watt light as i intend tol up size my flowering room and use the 1000 watt light in there and then use a 600 watt light in my current tent as a veg chamber for mother and clones

my yield is about the same per gram as urs
i have plans to improve it for sure though...more plants from seed to find that super performer.....its out there........
