Considering this budget one to add to my arsenal, but I think I'm not understanding why there's no blue light listed as part of their spectrum; isn't that a necessity for chlorophyll formation? https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000
Going into my 8th week of "Ghost Train Haze #1" that I scored from Attitude. Have five girls going. Thinking I have two, maybe three at most weeks left till harvest being these supposedly take ten weeks in flower. Grew them out of 7 gal bags using FF nutes. Grew them out of screening as well...
Whats it called again when buds look like new buds are growing on top of existing buds? I forget the terminology for that and I want to research it again. I've got five "Ghost Train Haze #1" plants going into their 8th week of flowering mode. This strain says they need approx. 10 weeks. As of...
I've got quite a bit of sugar leaves and immature buds from lower branches that are super sticky and got to wondering if you need to cure them before cooking them for edibles. If you do need to cure them, how long? Same as the buds? 3-4 weeks? Or is drying them good enough before one bakes with...
After starting a thread I do get notifications in the site, but no emails. How come? BTW, I do have the, "receive email notifications of replies" box checked.
Two months veg...then went 12/12 ten and a half weeks ago and I see not one amber trich...actually I still see a few clear ones, but most are milky. Anyone go this long with White Widow (from BCSEEDS)? I'm just guessing it could go another two weeks or less before chopping. I used Fox Farm nutes...
..whats the best way for the least amount of money to get those close up photos of trichs. I heard one grower say he uses the lens from a lazer pointer but never elaborated...Sumpin' decent for under thirty bucks?
Thankssss
I scored a jar of SCANMASK Beneficial Nematodes and they came today in the mail and the directions are kind of confusing. Right now I just need to mix up enough for 4- 5 gallon pots that my girls are already growing in. The container says to mix up the entire thing with no real break down...
Be nice to see some tried'n true gimmicks to help us grow..plus I dig gimmicks..maybe it's just me? Post more if you know of any and reviews if you tried any of them..
Here's a few to start..
One tip is to roll up a long length of paper towel into a tight rope..one end in a container of...
I transplanted four plants into air-pots then watered them right away...a cpl of days later a cpl started looking prettydroopy and slightly yellow. It's been several days and it's not worse but I'm still real concerned. I'm thinking I should have used mycorrhizal. The next feeding after I...
I was wondering what to do if you go away for several days and your plants need watering. Anyone have any ideas?
I found this one..

2 Barney's LSD & 2 Violator Kush... transplanted from the peat pellets to small 8" diameter pots three weeks ago then to bigger 12" diameter x 8" tall pots about one week ago which is whats in these photos. The Burpee PH tests shows them in the high 6.0's I'd have to say.
Feeding them FF's Big...
Framed in new walls and dropped in a ceiling in my basement creating a room with 7'3" ceiling. The length is about 11 and a 1/2 feet long by 4'3" wide and juts out after 6' another 2' wider making it about 6x11 1/2 at the widest point but I'll be using it first where you see that aluminum bench...

Slight mold starting on the fan leaves but....
......I'm just about ready to harvest within the next two/few daze...and this is my first grow.
I tried extending the growing season and built a smallish greenhouse over my three girls and it worked great except that the leaves are just starting to...
From an obvious newb-me..
By looking at the hairs on the buds still being somewhat white I didn't think they could be done but looking at the trichs under my microscope they look like they're pretty much there (almost?). the glands/trichs are for sure milky colored boarding on almost amber...
I just noticed today the first signs of the trichomes turning a reddish brown. Anyone have an idea if my Jamaican girls are getting close and what I should be doing about now with em'.
Been feeding them Fox Farms nutes for soil a cpl of times a week and straight rain water when they're dry...
Using FF nutes as of about a month ago after coming to this site and learning about them. Wished I'd had done it sooner b/c then they REALLY took off!.... but so be it. Thats why they call me a newbie I reckon. Been growing these Jamaican girls from seed since April outside in Miracle Grow soil...
I see lots of posts about how to cure the buds but what about the fan leaves? How do we deal with those? Is it a good idea to put them in a brown paper bag and let them cure in the attic hanging the bags from the rafters like I see some people do with herbs?
Thanx
