You shouldnt have done that because the fan leaves are what absorbs the most light and keeps your plants healthy. Your girls will get rid of the fan leaves when they are no longer of use. Its a learning experience.

Put those CFL's about 4 inches away from the tops of the plant and get more. You are gonna need a lot more than 2 CFL's for the 8 plants in the picture

Also dont top, supercrop, ect.... during the flowering but light leaks are the most common

Move the lights closer and that will stop the stretch...the stems will thicken up and they will be fine...just move the lights closer as soon as possible

You will be alright for the first 3 weeks then you will want to start nutes at 1/2 strength

First off move your lights closer...about 4 inches above the tops of your plant Looks like you only have the 2 cfl's...you need more lights About your nute question...what kind of soil are you using?
