    Tasty LED 3000k 90CRI vs 4000k 80CRI grow log

I'd just like to say that I'm very happy with my T 22-3000. I'm still in early veg with serious seeds Kali Mist under less than ideal circumstances. The temp is often over 90° and sometimes 100. I also transplanted early in soil that hadn't finished cooking, but beyond some slight leave...

Also a big fan. I think conventional wisdom says 3k would outperform 4K at flower, but nothing beats firsthand observation. I especially appreciate your considerating the interests of the home grower. Let me know if you ever want to turn to the dank side and go pure organic. I'll send you my...

@Rahz thanks for the tip. I put my geopots directly on the floor to no ill effect. A lot easier than what I was doing before!

    Tasty LED 3000k 90CRI vs 4000k 80CRI grow log

Sorry, was trying to ask if 50% power at 18" are good parameters for seedlings. The growth rate is sick: went from stuck in the ground to 2 inches in just a day. High heat, high humidity = jungle growth, I guess. In any case, thanks for the tips! Training and topping for sure. I'm running geo...

    Tasty LED 3000k 90CRI vs 4000k 80CRI grow log

I just popped a couple of seeds with the 90CRI and jeez they're growing like, well, weeds. I have the dimmer at 50 percent and 18 inches away. @Rahz any suggestions? @doz how do you water without saucers under your containers?

Hi guys (and girls), moving to Santa Barbara in a few weeks and hope to meet anyone who is out there. Here's a pic of one of my no-till containers, 6 plants in, going strong with a couple of tomato plants (peat-based DIY soil).

    Marketing Organic Gardening Book

Hello RIU. I'd like to advertise my book in Oregon, DC, and Colorado markets with a very modest budget. So far my ideas are community radio and reddit. Google, Facebook, and Outbrain won't take my money. Actually, Facebook does, but campaigns stop for no apparent reason. A related problem is I...

i think this website has come up before, but just found a great overview on how to naturally garden (soil mix, IPM, SSTs, ect...): http://www.moderncannabist.com/knowledge/modern-methods For any new guys out there, don't feel like you have to do everything on his Bloom Schedule. It's a bit intense.

    Teaming With Microbes......indoors

i never brewed teas for that long, so don't know. Dragonfly seems to being chopping up different plants (dynamic accumulators like kelp and alfalfa) throwing it in with some compost and letting it gently bubble for a few days (or longer, i haven't read their stuff). they're letting the nutrients...

    Teaming With Microbes......indoors

I should clarify, if the point of your AACT is too add microbe life, then simpler is better. that said, add all kinds of things to your teas to provide a broader spectrum of inputs (e.g., chopped up dandelion leaves/roots and other dynamic accumulators).

BuildASoil does it right. tells you what he puts in his soil and his blog has lots of good info. I list him and KIS Organics for people who don't want to mess with mixing your own soil. Thanks Richard. I'm blushing.

just to add my 2 cents. i think the simpler the AACTs, the better. each added input can influence the microbe life. unsulphured pure black strap molasses and worm poo is all you need. you can add kelp meal, alfalfa meal, or fish hydrolysate, but you don't need to. more info at...
