    Something blue/green on soil?

Thank you brother, I see the humidity is around 50% while the lights are on but last night I saw it was as high as 70% when the lights shut off which really surprised me. Starting today the exhaust fan will run 24/7 along with a fan for air movement! Will grab a dehumidifier if needed. Thanks!

    Something blue/green on soil?

Hi guys/gals, 2 of my pots have a very dark blue/green layer on top, it's hard to see in this photo but it's the best angle I could get to try and show it... I included another photo to show how the normal pots look. Is this some sort of mold or something? I usually have a fan on them but...

    When should I start flushing

@Indy73 lots of helpful people on these forums but also a lot who like to make others feel small. Not sure what their insecurities are but that's the internet for you I guess. Anyway, the tip Wet Socks gave you about a mini microscope/jewelers loupe is correct, below is a link that sells both...

    Alaska Fish Fertilizer

$20 for the 32oz bottle from my local flower nursery here in town (BC, Canada). Cheaper than amazon somehow... You don't see that very often!

    Alaska Fish Fertilizer

That's very weird, the bottle I have is the same as the one in the amazon link I posted in the original post. OMRI listed, even says "for organic gardening" on the bottle. I don't have the Morbloom yet but I did read the ingredients at the store and it was just fishy stuff, didn't see any heavy...

    Alaska Fish Fertilizer

Hi guys/gals, Have any of you used Alaska Fish Fertilizer & Morbloom from start to finish? How was it? Maybe a dumb question but any fishy taste or smell to the buds? https://www.amazon.ca/Alaska-100099247-Fertilizer-Concentrate-5-1-1/dp/B072M7K48R/ref=dp_prsubs_2?pd_rd_i=B072M7K48R&psc=1 Thanks!

    Soil mixing question

I feel the same way about this. I've always grown in a peat pellet in the past but now that I'm getting back into this years later, I'm wondering what is so bad about starting from seed in it's final pot. This would happen naturally in nature, wouldn't it be more beneficial for the roots to not...

    Seedlings under Fluorescent or MH

I do have both but my room is set up with the MH in somewhat of a permanent position and to swap it out with the fluorescent for a week or two wouldn't be worth the effort. So if I can get away with starting them under the MH then I'm a happy camper. How high would you recommend the light be for...

    Seedlings under Fluorescent or MH

I'd like to start them right under the MH. It's been years since I last grew plants, so I've forgotten most of what I had learned. Is 18" what you want for veg/flower? At what height would you have it above the seedlings? It's a 600W MH and HPS for flower. Thank you!

    Seedlings under Fluorescent or MH

Is it more beneficial to put your seedlings under a 4' fluorescent bulb (temporarily) so they can be inches away and not have to stretch, or straight under the MH where they can soak up the real good stuff, but risk them stretching because the MH will have to be farther away...? Thanks!
