    Bud Rot Outdoors Questions

Bud rot is a bitch... There's really not much you can do but cut away the infected area and treat it with a spray... And even then it could come back and spread. If your plant is close to done i'd suggest just taking it now, especially if there's more wet weather in the forecast.

First plant of the year chopped!

Thought I'd share a few pics of a freebie that I harvested today. Strain is G-13 labs "cheese". For not being an "early" strain she did start flowering early (1st week of July or so). Trics were mostly cloudy with a few clear. Normally I would have let her go another week or so, but 3 days...

Yeah that'd be nice wouldn't it? Was having great weather up until last night when it decided to down pour. Soaking wet buds = unhappy grower.

I'm running Frisian dew and purple marocs, both of which started flowering early to mid July. Some are further ahead than others. Two are looking like they'll be done by sept 1st

Yeah I hear ya, just don't want her to get "overripe" so to speak. I'll give her another thorough inspection before putting her on the chopping block

You're not lying about the hard work, bro. Definitely worth it in the end. It's pretty crazy how fast they progress once flowering starts. One week and there's just pre flowers, the next they're dime sized buds. I have one plants that's leaps and bounds ahead of the others. Took a close up pic...

    Outdoors In The Northeast

Update: 7 ft Frisian dew 3 weeks or so into flower. This one is about the same, but has a more open structure. Also noticed a split in the stem starting, hence the pink duct tape. Last one is about 5 weeks in and has a nice purple pheno.

Yeah she looks good. Should give you a lot of nice colas come flowering. My only complaint about my re-vegged girl is that she's pretty thick which makes me worry about mold, but so far so good. Here's a bud shot of her taken today

That's a shame to see, man. They always seem to split where they've been topped before. One of my larger females started to split mere inches up the stalk so I had to bust out the duct tape to hold her together. And it's only gonna get worse when they're heavy with flowers... :x

It's possible to collect the pollen from the male and only pollinate a branch or two on your female. That way you don't have seeds throughout the entire plant.
