First plant of the year chopped!

Harvested the last of the early finishers today, the long awaited purple pheno Frisian dew. The rest of my plants will need several more weeks to finish up, but that's fine by me. I need a break from trimming...

Lol... Also, how many people have suggested you pull them... Why ask if you don't listen to suggestions.

First plant of the year chopped!

I don't think they would bother with one or two. I've heard they only really care about large scale grows. I checked the patch tonight that I suspected was found and luckily everything was intact. I don't think I'll ever drop my guard there again though. Nope, I don't live in Canada. A little...

    Late / small buds?

Ha, it's been an abnormally good year for me. You're doing fine. If you give them a week in between visits you'd be amazed at how much those buds grow.

    Late / small buds?

They look fine to me. Probably two weeks into flowering or so. Is this a different strain than you grew in 2012? That could be the difference. I have several plants that I've harvested already and some that are only a month in. Could depend on pheno types too...

First plant of the year chopped!

Thanks man. It means a lot to hear that. It's definitely been my best year so far. Last year I only pulled a little over 2 lbs total and this year I've almost accomplished that with 2 plants. I'll give that spot a few days to cool down and then I'll go in all covert ops to check it out...

First plant of the year chopped!

Harvested another one today and it was a chore... Just one of those plants with lots of leaves and smaller bottom nugs but it will be worth it in the end. I didn't get too creative with pictures since I was short on time, but the before picture is posted above. (And yes, those are nugs in a...

First plant of the year chopped!

Agreed. Next year I wouldn't hesitate to run 45 gallon smart pots as opposed to the 15's I did this year.

First plant of the year chopped!

@tannersmokin247 Thanks for the kind words. I've got a theory going that its not as much the early flowering genetics as it is pot size and plant maturity. I started early indoors around May and transplanted in June to 15 gallon fabric pots. Needless to say my plants reached full...

A half pound would be amazing. I'll update when I've got the dry weight.

First plant of the year chopped!

I actually had a chance to check on it today. It's looking great. I think the buds have stopped growing, but I haven't had a chance to check the trics. That one will definitely be coming down soon though

Thank you. Yeah dealing with mold is difficult in a guerrilla situation so I took the easy way out. Lol

First plant of the year chopped!

Thanks. Feels great to have one harvested. Hoping to take one more toward the end of this week... As for the rest, they'll need a few more weeks to finish up. Probably a mid September harvest. Hope everyone's having a good season :leaf:
