AN Hammerhead + Mother of all Blooms works wonders :)

Short cycle timers... burning them out in a day

4 dead timers just doesn't happen without poor electrical or an issue outside of the timers themselves. With those kinds of odds, you should be playing the lotto not growing weed. Check out your electrical and make sure that you're not running too much juice through them and that all your...

New Clone Source for the Springs Patients Co. CannaLab

Calm down big guy, pretty sure they're not selling clones anymore anyways :) And like your bad story, I had 4 times I used them to get clones without a single issue. Sometimes with smaller startups you gotta be a bit more patient.

Can You Add a Drip Feed to an Existing Aeroponic System?

I wouldn't bother, the aero effect should be plenty. You're only going to be adding additional cost as well as power consumption doing so. I don't think doing so would hurt anything though, might take away from the benefits you'd get form growing aero as you'd have a drip too, but you girls...

    Anyone Try Fog-oponics?

There seems to still be a decent amount of people on here doing high pressure aero using fine misting heads, fatsman is a big name when it comes to those things apparently. I'm not well versed in those things. I do however use fog for all my cloning and partial fog for vegging station with...

Advanced Nutrients: Is it Worth it?

After trying out advanced full line of nutes I was able to grow some great buds, but it sure did feel like I was always spending more on nutes every run. Most recently I switched to dynagrow at a fraction of the price and the product was as good if not better than the AN stuff. I don't...

    Need Some Help RIU

Roughnecks flex wayyy too much to work with those uniseals and it will probably end up being a huge headache for you with leaks. Rapid rooters for seeds, both work, but I find the RR don't stay quite so saturated and make it a bit easier. I second the no h2o2 with the beans, stuff is pretty...

    Hammerhead

If you have a chiller you could try running individual wort chillers. I've considered that option myself but running a chiller for me isn't necessary in Co. BTW, there's decent cheap cycle timers on ebay that work great. Even with an extra on hand for in case purposes it's still half the...

    Hammerhead

I don't think there's a way around it if they're all sharing out of the same reservoir, even without running the additives. Why not simply move to smaller reservoirs and break things down? I run a vertical version of diy aeroflo style in perpetual style and the only way I can do this is...

    Dynagrow Good or Bad?

Currently using dynagrow myself and loving it, grew out some pretty great meds with the stuff and it's super cheap. I'm happy.

    Backup Power for Pumps

Check out craigslist there's always some decent deals for them on there as they're hard to resell. Even if it's used the batteries can usually be replaced and it should function good as new. APC makes some really good ups.

    Backup Power for Pumps

Get a UPS for computers they would work great. Even a smaller sized one could handle the power of most pumps for a while. They come in all sizes, and I mean ALL SIZES so just get one that will give enough juice for your pumps.

    Aero Question

A little bit probably, but I don't think you'll have enough of the waterfall effect to really oxygenate things. With as cheap as the parts are for oxygenating and as critical as oxygen is that's one thing I've learned to not skimp on.

    Transferring from Aerocloner to Dwc

I've run plants in my uc/waterfarm by just putting them into the hydroton and letting the roots grab hold of the rocks. I did an older run where I was worried about support and got some of that DIY neoprene insert kids play pads from walmart and cut out some larger plug shapes that would fit...

    Polar Bear CC-25 Chiller

I was using a 1/4hp chiller to cool my reservoir in my af60 and it worked just fine, different brand but similar ratings. What size pump are you using? I found that slower pumps worked better as it was suggested that the water had more time to dissipate the heat inside the chiller. Where is...

Aerocloners WTF! 5th Try and I'm Still Failing. What's Wrong?

Tap water will root them, but I noticed that if you use a 1/4-1/8 dose of clonex or similar nutes you don't get as much yellowing in the clones. I believe this to be because they're not having to use stored nutes to create the roots since they have some readily available. Using clonex compared...
