There's many that feel that a plant does it's growing above the soil during lights-on and under the soil (root development) during lights-off. It's a theory.

Purple stems are really nothing to worry about.....often it's a strain thing, other times it's a sign of stress....but I've grown with purple stems often with no ill effects....it's just what some plants do.

What crap you guys that are name-calling and such.....WTF. I've had the same looking plants as you and found adding bat guano stops the yellowing from advancing. Once a leaf is yellowed it won't come back....but I wouldn't pull it off, but rather let the plant decide when it's done with it.
