While I feel High Times magazine is about as credible as Wikipedia, they do talk about pot being infected with TMV.

I'm taking my plants out of the equation as far as proving that TMV does not exist in cannabis......as I haven't as of yet tested them and won't be able to for at least 2 weeks. There HAS to be some documentation that say pot is not affected as many of you have based your opinions on something...

No.....the onus is on the Nay-sayers as I've cited documentation that supports my views. What do the nay-sayers base their opinions on? All I've seen are quotes from other grow-site threads with other nay-sayers.

Wow.....you sound like my wife....when she doesn't agree with me she pulls out the "I'll take everything to an extreme" argument.

I tell you what......if someone can post a legitimate source that says that TMV does not affect pot, I will delete this thread and never bring it up again. Just one source that isn't a thread of nay-sayers. Something from a test lab saying they've never tested a positive for TMV in weed...

I'm probably wrong, but my first thought was the lights burning the top of the plant. CFL's are hot, and you certainly have a few on that plant.

I hope that no-one gets this as it's a daunting thing to face....an entire grow room possibly being infected, and no real way of getting rid of it other than tossing all your plants...including clones from infected plants.

So if I read that right, TMV does indeed infect pot plants.....Dammit. Maybe I'm not as wet as some thought. I would rather be wrong about this than being right.

It's not the smoking around the plants that cause this. It's the physical handling of the plants with unwashed hands that starts the ball rolling on this.
