nitrogen deficiency question

I know that N deficiency is pretty common in plants that are in middle to late stages of flowering, and a common theme I've read over and over is that it is just best to let it take its course as adding N at those points can be detrimental to the quality of the finished product. That being said, if an auto flowering strain was at around day 40 would that be late enough in the process to let it go, or still early enough to make adjusting the N worth while?

I don't know about being too late correcting a nitrogen deficiency, while it will not fix affected leaves, your plant still requires more N than it's getting....and the leaves are telling you so.

There are many that feel depleting a plant of nutrients in the latter stages of flower is a good thing, an opinion I personally do not share.....but I don't want to start yet another thread about flushing and such here. I prefer to have a nice green plant right up to chop.

I agree with @lilroach I keep my ladies green and healthy from start to finish. I find the best production comes from a happy healthy plant. I give them what they need whenever they need it. Don't buy into the forum myths, take care of your plant.

Thanks a lot guys. Obviously autos are a little touchy when it comes to nutrients, and all I really have on hand to correct a nitrogen deficiency is blood meal. Any advice on how to adjust the dosage to avoid burning the living hell out of her and creating a brand new problem?

Feed it! Slowly add nitrogen, 1/4 first 2 days then 1/2 next 2 days and so forth. Next round don't let them start with their yellowing
