Sweet Tooth Auto - Various marks on leaves

Still looking slightly unhappy. I'm pretty far along in flowering so I think maybe I just keep doing my thing? The suffering is advancing so slowly that it might not even be an issue. But still. Leaf edges are curling up, and various signs of deficiencies.

Advice on 4x4 set up please

You should be okay. But you can get a small dehumidifier that fits your tent for like $40 or so. Might be worth investing in if you want to make everything perfect.

Preparing my hole for something big

Damn, I got clickbaited. Anyway, if you're waiting several months anyway, maybe you should consider cover crops? With a small layer of hay on top, as other have suggested.

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Decent amount of fading/yellowing leaves from inside or lower on the Frisian Dew. I don't know if I should be increasing the nitrogen or if this is just a result of being shaded out. It looks like one of them has been eaten a bit by a caterpillar or something. Will spray with BT tonight.

Any opinions on how close we are on the Sweet Tooth Auto? I guess we're in the 2-3 weeks ballpark?

I bet that room is starting to smell nice. I was surprised by the juicy fruit smell, to say the least. Hope it retains some of that after drying.

Still a few weeks on the Sweet Tooth Auto I guess. I'm not an expert on timing. I'm looking for the white pistils to turn brown and then I will start looking at tricomes. I hope that's an accurate way to go about it. There's some webbing on the top cola. Been there for a week, doesn't seem...

VPD and drying - An overview

I just thought I'd share this here since it's useful to me, so maybe it will be valuable to others too. Sometimes it's hard to have the ideal 60/60 environment for drying, I personally only have a furnace room for drying where the temperature is a bit too high, so I wanted to ensure that my dry...

Defoliated all the plants a bit a few days ago. And today it seems like the Frisian Dew at least has moved into flowering. Couldn't see any signs of flowering on the Frisian Ducks. Photos of the defoliated bottom of Frisian Dew + A top showing pistils might be hard to see. But I swear they're...

1.5lbs from an auto is wild! But yeah it would be interesting to try. Assuming you use the same soil, nutrients, climate and genetics (except for the auto part ofc) I bet you wouldn't be able to taste a difference, but who knows?

I remember back then when autoflowers were more of a gimmick than a serious thing to grow. They've come a long way. And I still don't understand entirely how autoflowers work. It seems like they take a lot longer to finish in bad climates (Like mine) so their growth isn't as simple as "They...

2024 outdoor show an tell anything an everything outdoor is welcome.

Two Frisian Ducks and a Frisian Dew. I think I'm going to be in trouble height-wise with the Frisian Dew. It's enjoying itself a bit too much. Also a Sweet Tooth Auto, late in flower, not sure how much I have left, but it's looking and smelling great. (Like Juicy Fruit gum)

Group photo and Sweet Tooth Auto, starting to thicken up and, looking juicy. Really windy, so it was hard to get a proper picture. I'm not an expert by any means, but I've grown both photoperiods and autos and I honestly can't tell the difference. As far as I know, many autos only have like...

I might grow entirely autoflowers in the coming years. I don't need gigantic plants. Autoflowers would also have the benefit of finishing early so I don't have to worry so much about the rainy season. Have you considered that? If size is a problem for you too.

I see the appeal of course. But I never really want to grow more than a couple of plants. I smoke recreationally, a few times a week. My current grow is way too large, I will have way more weed than I need. (Assuming I don't lose 95% to budrot)

The one I was looking at was light green so it would have been a bit stealthy. Something like this It would be in a remote corner of the property, with only big fields next to it, so people wouldn't be able to see what's in it, I hope.

    Begginer trying to grow outdoor

You could tie it to a stick loosely, so it can still move a bit in the wind. It's good for the stem, it encourages it to thicken a bit. That's what I've done with mine, so they can still wobble and move a bit, but if the wind gets too strong the rope will stop them from getting damaged or...

I will do that next year then. Can't you keep both ends of the hoop house open, to allow wind to pass through easily and keep humidity down?
