Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Oh, you meant for drying, I thought you meant about the purple colour, I know those colours come out in cold, so I thought that's what you meant. The room I'm drying will be around 23c, so it's actually too hot if anything. I'll see what the humidity says at that point, but at the moment it's...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

A night or two below 15c, but on average more like 17c night temp. Hope it's okay. All my photoperiods have several months left. They will feel the cold

Pretty sure the color is just genetics, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Looking frosty as hell.

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Gotcha. I just remember some of the studies on flushing, concluding that the result was the same if you flushed or not. This also means that instead of fertilizing, you could just let it cannibalize itself before harvesting. But since I need to slow down my dry, maybe it's in my best interest...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

@SouthFloridaGenetics What do you think? The yellowing is quickly spreading and some sugar leaves are turning purple. There's a lot of spiderweb on the main cola, but I'm pretty sure it's just regular spiderweb. I hope so at least, haven't seen any signs of spider mites. Should I stop...

You're going to have to provide more info than that. You can usually find the hanging height on the manufacturer's website.

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Frisian Dew shows some yellow leaves. I guess I should be upping the nitrogen? Sweet Tooth auto I'm not too worried about, the yellowing of the leaves is happening so slowly that it might be an unintentional flush

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Sweet Tooth Auto looking juicy. Frisian Dew looking thicc. Both Frisian Ducks are kind of unhappy in general. I have no idea what their deal is. I attached some photos of the leaves I pulled off. Any thoughts? It's odd because the Frisian Dew is pretty happy, and the Sweet Tooth Auto is also...

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

Haven't looked into any of the products discussed. But some terpenes start evaporating at 21c/68f and a majority of terpenes start evaporating at 38c/100f I believe. Cannabinoids don't start evaporating until very high temperatures, can't remember the exact number. So you're only risking taste...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Sweet Tooth Auto is nearing finish (I think) - All trichomes are cloudy. Didn't check with a microscope for a few days, so I have no idea if ambers have started showing up yet.

Tent - Passive intake - Light leaks?

I've just been wondering, it seems like every single grow tent relies on those small passive air intakes, but those have light leaks. So, is this a massive oversight by tent designers? Or do light leaks not matter that much? Or is it just assumed that everyone will use some home made light-proof...

What to use to deter caterpillars eating my outdoor grow

You don't have to stop after the second week of flower. But that's up to you of course. Spray at sunset. Spray when you know there won't be rain for another day or two, ideally. Don't spray when the sun is still out, it can burn your plants I believe.

What to use to deter caterpillars eating my outdoor grow

Yeah, It's unfair, Americans have access to so many great products. We have a lot more regulations on products. I guess it's for the best, in terms of bees and the environment etc, but still, spinosad would be very nice to have.

What to use to deter caterpillars eating my outdoor grow

I see you're also looking for something else to deal with other bugs. I use something called Neudosan, it's potassium fatty acids, it's harmful to insects but they're not harmful to your buds. It's used the same way as BT. Mix with water, spray your plants thoroughly. I do BT on Mondays and...

What to use to deter caterpillars eating my outdoor grow

I've heard you can use it up to flower without any change in taste or smell. I'm honestly not sure. I keep finding conflicting information. https://www.rollitup.org/t/how-late-into-flowering-can-you-use-bt.381246/ - As they say, up until flower is fine. But you don't really need to, due to the...

What to use to deter caterpillars eating my outdoor grow

You always do when you grow outside, regardless of using BT. It would be best if you searched for the name "Bacillus thuringiensis EU buy" and look at the options. I found one in my own country that was pretty cheap. But all brands will have different names. BT is just the active ingredient...

Got impatient and harvested a tiny nug to try out the Sweet Tooth auto. All of the trichomes look cloudy/milky now IMO.

Sweet Tooth Auto - Various marks on leaves

I'm not sure, to be honest, I've looked at a lot of photos. I think perhaps it's an excess of magnesium or calcium. I've been adding cal mag, but turns out I have pretty hard water, so I shouldn't even need to add calmag. Might flush it as you suggest and stop with the calmag.
