HELP // GROW LIGHT DEAD MID FLOWER

That's what I was thinking. I'm in Orange County and can loan out a Mars SP3000 or a Vipar XS-1500.

Has anyone here ever used one of them '3-in-1' AC/heater/dehumidifier units for they grow?

I've read other comments like this and I just don't get it. I've been in touch with their tech support a few times and everything has worked out fine. It' can't be because I'm a "warm and friendly" guy. :-) As for their products, I can't say that they're not well built and "pricing"? I bill by...

Has anyone here ever used one of them '3-in-1' AC/heater/dehumidifier units for they grow?

I thought @1212ham was referring to the SereneLife device. That is another AC unit. Terraformer is a different approach.

Has anyone here ever used one of them '3-in-1' AC/heater/dehumidifier units for they grow?

No, I haven't seen one and, until tonight, haven't even looked for or at the docs. The marketing material piqued my interest and it seems to be a very configurable device. I've had great experience with AC Infinity and believe them to be well thought out and well manufactured so I suspect it...

Has anyone here ever used one of them '3-in-1' AC/heater/dehumidifier units for they grow?

I looked up that device and that's just a portable AC unit. I've got a Whynter 14k AC unit that I don't use any more (I gave up doing a Summer grow) and it's got the same functions. It's an AC unit with a heater unit that's also used to dehumidify. The Terraformer is a very different beast...

My new plants are HATING my new t8 leds!!!!

Yeh, there's lot of piece parts. This might help you compartmentalize things. Crawl, walk, run - right? Tackle these things one at time. Some are really easy, others are more involved but it's really amazing how well cannabis does once you get things nailed down.

My new plants are HATING my new t8 leds!!!!

Agree with 99% of what you've written and, until a week ago, would have gone with the 79° metric. But "that was then, this is now". I've drunk the Bugbee Koolaid, no questions about it. I've read and watched everything I can find of his stuff and have incorporated the results of his research...

That all are generating PAR so they're valid as grow lights. Left is going to give a taller plant with higher yield, center is more of a veg light, and Right is proof that disco blurple will never die. :-)

FC3000 Causing Issues at only 30 DLI. What’s going on?

Thanks for the reply. I don't know the concentration. I was just "adding a little" to stop the algae and I ended up adding to many "a little". As best I can tell, ended up causing an issue. Thinking back on it, 20 or 30 ml in a gallon, perhaps. "It's not the poison, it's the dose" - very...

Are you referring to the Terraformer? The name says it all, right? If I could get one in to the area around my tent, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It looks like it gives you total control over the RH and temperature in your grow space. And it might even allow you to set up a closed circulation...

FC3000 Causing Issues at only 30 DLI. What’s going on?

H2O2 in a humidifier? Never again. I started doing that for my grow this spring and, after a while, realized that I was putting a lot of H2O2 in the water and that was being sprayed…on my plant. I refer to it as my "Claus von Bulow grow" (if that rings a bell). I sincerely believe that it...

    Tent suggestion

The original Gorilla line is now called "Pro" and has the advantage of having multiple zippers for the doors. It makes it easy to open one side of the tent. Also, the zippers run all the way around to the back of the tent so the front and side of the tent can be accessed. The Pro tents are...

Component conflicts with AC Infinity controllers?

I've been using AC Infinity equipment for a few years and recommend them highly (except their lights). I've used Pulse and Inkbird previously but retired most of that gear two years ago in favor of AC Infinity. They're very well priced, highly reliable, the sensor is very accurate and it reports...

My new plants are HATING my new t8 leds!!!!

I don't know that the spectrum of a T8 looks like - can you post a picture of the spectrum. The spectrum of a 6500k light is shown here: Is blue heavy which is used for plants in the vegetative stage. Blue photons inhibit cell expansion so plants grown under a lot of blue light will tend to...

Agree 100%. I just love his whole attitude. That's a nice setup. How has it worked out for you?

    Brown root tips

Once roots are in the water, it's a moot point but I think it is a valid method for starting plants out. The res I have had a "top feed" feature but the hoses got in the way so I removed them and water the net pots by hand. It's much easier just to raise the water level (doh!).

    Brown root tips

Good advice! I bought my tent kit from SuperCloset and they recommend filling the res to ½" below the net pot but Gary at PA Hydro (check out his vids on YT) recommends raising the water level so that the net pots are flooded. I chuckled when I heard that because, well, that just makes more...

    Brown root tips

19's fine but at 17.8 K uptake starts to be inhibited. SIlver Bullet - great name! Go for it. Light in the res is, per conventional wisdom, a no no so plug the leak. I built a top for my res out of ⅜" HDPE (plastic). I held a flashlight on one side and could see the outline so I sprayed it...

    Brown root tips

The only reasons I've seen for brown root tips is root rot. Over time, roots will gradually get stained by nutrients and the key issue is that the older roots (the ones at the top) are the darkest. The coloration start with white in the tips, going to tan as you go up the root, and then brown...
