I like the Fiskars for working on plants, defoliating, and quick trimming. The Chikis I only use for close nug trimming. Also the Chikis aren’t spring-loaded, and have a curved blade. Take a little getting used to.

I bought a pair of Chikimasa on Cav’s recommendation, and they are very nice. I also have the Fiskars micro trimmers, and some freebie knock offs from supply orders. Watch your fingertips!

You might be right, been a year since I switched to LOS. Have to dig out up/down bottles and see which one is nearly empty. First go with organic was great; no going back to MB now. Meter is Apera, good quality, spot on with standard solutions. Haven’t needed it for months. I’m out.

Lol. I used RO water. Edit: he’s right. It was pH Up, not down.

When I used maxibloom I had to use a lot of pH down to get it in the 5.8 range. I switched to organic.

I have a pack of the bubblegum, but haven’t popped any yet. Probably this spring. I plan to try the ESB as well. I’ll be following…

I would not put ona gel in with the plants. Your bud might smell like urinal cakes.

Soaked 3/13 Guerilla Fume’ yesterday, and got tails overnight. The 3 went into solo cups of pro-mix today. The seeds were very uniform and nice, but I picked the 3 smallest. Hope is for 1-2 girls to clone and test. :blsmoke:

You probably already know, but to be Mr Obvious: PPF, PAR photon flux, is a flow of photons within the PAR range of wavelength. Flux is an old-fashioned word for flow. Since we use mol to count photons, the unit of PPF is mols/second. Those terms just describe how much of the total flow...

Exactly above is correct - I only wish half of the electricians out there knew this: If the GFCI is cross-wired line-to-load, the GFCI receptacle itself will still trip upon a ground fault test, but the downstream receptacles won't, which is UNSAFE. This is easy to detect in YOUR place with one...

Best of luck. I have baggies of seed, as well as breeder packs from 10-30 years old, but all were improperly stored during a long period of my life due to ... "circumstances". Alas, none has ever sprouted for me, and I've tried most of the tricks. I'll be following this.

Recently tested outlets in a house my son rented (using a simple 3-light Ideal tester with GFCI test button). House is about 30 years old. EVERY SINGLE GFCI in it was wired wrong: line to load and vice versa. The downstream outlets all failed test. Had to rewire every dang one of them.
