    Humidity and Temperature interaction?

If you have a "space", a volume of air (your tent, etc), that is at a stable temp/RH, then we assume a fixed amount of water vapor in the air.. If you only change the temp, the following happens: If temp goes up, but water vapor stay the same, RH goes Down. Recall that warmer air holds more...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

Chopped my huge bushy "rado purple bubblegum, water-only OLS earthbox single plant, 61 days flower and done the way I like it, mostly cloudy trichs top to bottom. Should be a damn good yield. The stem at the dirt level was so thick I had to use a saw to cut it, like 2.5" diameter. I took a...

Mesh to prevent bugs from duct/exhaust

My 6" ACI (S6+67) exhausts the space at speed 3 for 24/7 to keep air exchanged, and neg pressure. The 67 is set for a min speed 3 and max speed 6 if temp hits 87F (never has), or RH 65% (once or twice briefly). It exhausts outside thru a very short duct/vent. The other end of the fan is taped...

Good quality (large) Carbon Filters for a reasonable price, Pelletized vs granular

Wrong. I measured the flow of my setup using a vent anemometer. 124 cfm at speed 3. The ACI S6 will only do 400 cfm on a bench with no ducting, at wide open.

Good quality (large) Carbon Filters for a reasonable price, Pelletized vs granular

I thought about putting a "urinal cake" or some mothballs in the vent to take care of masking the last little bit of odor. Thanks for the ideas, watson.

Johnny Boones KY bluegrass, where is it at?

I bought a pack of "Cornbread Mafia Mexican Death Sativa" from AKBB, but haven't run them yet. In the books the author claims they ran some Russian genetics, but I don't know about that.

Good quality (large) Carbon Filters for a reasonable price, Pelletized vs granular

Phresh 6" x 24" didn't last me 2 months. Defeated by a loud "rado purple bubblegum. 6" ACI fan set on 3, RH around 55% average. Phat 6" x 24" at 6 weeks already getting a whiff.. I need a great carbon filter, and these ain't cutting it.

So how long do you dry for?

I'm going to have to figure out some sort of swamp cooler with ice to cool my garage closet, while keeping exhaust+filter on for odor abatement. It will be solid summer heat at est chop time... getting 60F/60 RH is going to be a real challenge.

    Cannarado genetics

First cannarado, purple bubblegum fem, day 77 from seed (day 34 since flip). 100% organic, water only. HLG350. Very easy to grow in spite of inexperience on the farmer's part. Smells sweet, kinda bubblegummy. Stoked.

Single earthbox. Single bush : cannarado purple bubblegum fem, day 77 from seed (day 34 since flip). 100% organic, water only, top-dressed a time or 2 with good stuff. Waited too long to flip, and it got wild. Just defoliated for the 3rd time. Closet is 4 feet wide for scale.

    Humidity issues

I must have neg pressure in my space at all times for odor control, so I also run a 6" fan extracting the space 24-7. You're just going to have to humidify best you can, as it is a trade-off. My area is quite humid, so my issue is DE-humidifying the space. So I try to control the room the...

    Meanwell HLG-240H-2100A On/Off Switch

No. You show the snubber in series with the switch, when it should be in parallel. I don't recommend switching the DC because of reasons already posted.

Electric breaker panel question stab lok

Hmm. My credo is never invite "the man" into your life. Whomever that was. A properly done mod/improvement is never an issue, even at resale. Do it right. Sleep tight.

Electric breaker panel question stab lok

Yikes. Eject, eject, eject! I would replace that panel asap. I do my own work, but I have many many years experience and training. Even then, I know a pro with full tools and van, etc, and he is fast af and does neat work. He would get the job.

    circuit breaker flipped on me

The breaker amperage is chosen based on the gauge of the wire only! It's job is to trip before an overload/short gets the wire too hot and starts a fire. The breaker protects the wire, not the load. Never up-size a breaker unless you up-size the wire. Consult a reliable electrician.
