hi, this is my first grow so be gentle, when i chop down my plants do i have to prune the leaves back ( cut the ends of em) to show more of the bud or do i just chop them from the bottom of the stalk and hang them straight up??:?:

tested the yellow - tan water, results are plant 1= 6.0 - 6.5, plant 2= 6.5 - 7.0, plant 3= 6.5, plant 4= 6.0 - 6.5
