an update on these gnats and larve, have used the potato trick, (cut potatos up and place on top of the soil to attract larve) and the not well plant seems to be coming back to life, checked the potato pieces today and there was definetly larvfe on one piece of potato, so seems to be working...

that was one of my worries, might put the sand on top of the soil as it is, without digging.

top job, looks great, if it really is your first grow well done, im on my 4th and still cant get mine that big lol.

hi, im having real problems with fungus gnats, senn a vid on you tube from a guy with same problem , he dug out 2-4 inch of soil and filled with sand, and used beakers with coffee in them and it attracted the flies to the coffee, has anyone tried this , and will the sand effect my plant ...

i hope you dont mate, lol i have had spidermites flying gnats and powdery milldew before. gonna post some pics off the girls later .

thanks for the replies, on the last grow i used plant vitallity plus and that seemed to work, i have somw left so i have sprayed them with it, will let you know how it goes thanks again, cheers cues, good idea with j-cloth thing, i do have some cloth gauze stuff on the inlet but its prob not...

how do you get infected with spidermites, my last 2 grows have both got them, what can i do to prevent this happening, not impressed at all. thanks

hi, can i use plant vitality the day before harvest??

i am assuming you mean nute burn not light burn, starting flushing tomorrow, i am right in thinking 2 weeks flushing??
