    An Easy Hydro Method?

I think flood and drain is the easiest, although I have never tried the drip system. I know that the flood and drain system requires a few less materials. I use flood and drain and you can build a set up for like $60. However, If you are building the system to last you should spend a little more...

its cool bro. I think it was because my timer stopped working and the water pump didn't turn on all day. I came home today and the temp was at 87 and they were fine because the pump had fed them when it was supposed to. I guess at the hotter temps they need more water or something because just...

    Advice Requested

Videoman, I'm sure with all the info that these guys provided that you'll be able to put something together. I agree with you though about not wanting to buy one of those over priced hydro system. I spent about $175 and built a complete ebb and flow system with airstones, air pump, water pump...

    Co2 Times 2

does anyone know if its better to put your co2 source below or above your plants. I have read both above and below on this site, so I'm a little confused. I guess it depends on whether co2 is more dense than then the combination of all the other gasses that make up air, but I'm too lazy to look...

    experienced help needed!!!

so this is how my plants looked two days ago on the 19th day of flowering (first two pics) which is pretty much how they looked earlier today. This is how they looked when I got home today (last two pics). The room temp had jumped up to 90 deg F and it seems as though the timer for the pump...

    lumens amount

its hard to measure per plant. Per square foot is more appropriate. Plants differ in size.

Anyone use higher spec (5500K) blue cfls to suppliment lighting during flowering?

I am kinda curious. The only lights I've found at Home Depot that are suitable for growing are the 42 w cfls. And they only have the soft whites (low kelvin). Do you know what the lumen out put is for the ones you use?

    Lighting

make sure not to over pay for supplies. Most online stores mark their prices up so much, that I can't believe they are still in business. The cheapest online stores that I have found are High Tech Garden Supply, Hydroponics | Hydroponic Supplies, Texas Hydroponics.

Anyone use higher spec (5500K) blue cfls to suppliment lighting during flowering?

Thanks for the concern but I'm pretty sure I read it as carefully as needed the first time. Sorry for not specifying that my question didn't concern you. i shoulda replied to Penguin420's post. I was just asking Penguin why he was using light in that temp range for flowering, which he pretty...

    Hps Or Mh

It could be beneficial in getting more direct light to some of the lower bud sites. Use the soft whites when flowering (lower color temp).

    Hps Or Mh

Keep in mind that you don't need to buy two systems, you can just get the HPS system and buy an MH conversion bulb. At the link videoman posted they have a good deal for the HPS system that comes with the MH conversion bulb.
