I don't really want to say in this context. The quality is superb and the customer service is excellent. They were sold as being equivalent to 400 w hid. I've never used 400w hid, but I've used 250w mh , 800w mh/hps and 1000w watt hps, so I have something to compare them to.

I doubt any hid manufacturer will advertise the PAR of their lights. Comparing led watts to hid watts doesn't get it anymore. Nowadays light is measured in par. But how much PAR you need to do what a 600w hps will do is still being debated.

ok, so clw says my 220w has a draw of 180w and is comparable to a 400w hid. Is that correct? It would be so much easier for me if I could exactly know what led is comparable to what hid. I know just about everything an hid can do, I am very new to led.
