    Led Users Unite!

same here, I just bought the clw 220 fullcycle. I'm using it now to finish off a plant that was already just about done flowering. There seems to be a slight improvement in bud quality over the 200w cfl I was using.. Next grow will be 4 feminized seeds in a 15 airpot. That's about a 2 x 2...

IF you are new to LED and want help choosing what to buy, POST HERE!

see, I don't get that. Anybody and everybody knows you can grow top shelf with 600hps in a 4 x 4 flowering tent. Personally, I use led and am all for arguing a point, but why look for something else that all agree works really well?

    Best led Lights?

that's cool, a lot of good fiddlers up in those mountains. So you said you owned a clw 220, me too, what is your opinion of it and would you say it is equivalent to a 400w hid like the man claims?

    Best led Lights?

that's what I have, a CLW 220 and I really like it, but I am only growing 4 plants in a 2 x 2. Who's that fiddler on your avatar? I probably know somebody who knew him. Most likely from West Virginia?

my CLW is made in America and as far as I can tell has exceptional quality. I bought it to replace a 200w cfl. The 200w cfl was great for one plant and kept me stoned perpetually, but I decided I wanted to grow 4 plants in a 2x2, and the cfl footprint was about 1x2 and was never designed to sit...

Impulse buy or great value - 200w LED for $250?

Impulse buy or great value - 200w LED for $250?

naw you're cool, don't worry about it, I know very good growers who stick with mh all the way through, and clw vegmaster is about like a mh

    LED or CFL

no, you don't need mylar, you just need to light proof, it's not as easy as you might think, that's why many just buy a tent, but anyone who has ever used a tent would give their eye teeth for a real room that was light proofed.

    LED or CFL

$250 to run a 1000 watt? Maybe in some underprivileged countries like Europe or Canada, but not in the good old USA I would put the over/under at $38, and if you are conservative, I would take the under

    LED or CFL

1st question, can you light proof it? If not then you need a tent. You want your flowering room bigger than your veg room. If you get the tent for flower, then you can just use the rest of the room for veg. 2nd, No, one 1000w 12/12 and one small veg will not make a big enough difference to...

    LED or CFL

you get the 1000 w, and then you only use what it will cover, then you start adding, and then, if you have sold a lot of dope, an array of led (by that time) may be a consideration.

    LED or CFL

well, now that I think about it, you could use that closet for 24/0 veg, and your big grow room for 12/12. That would be really nice! So all you would need is a 1000 w hps always on 12/12 in your big room (provided you can light proof it) and then you could always have some seedlings or clones...

    LED or CFL

yeah well, I would totally skip the 2 x 8 closet, no need for it so you are talking about an 8 x 10 growroom. For many that is huge. No, don't mess with led right now, that can come later. In that size I would be looking at 1000 w mh/hps. check out Apollo ebay, they have some cheap lights. Go...

well, if you have two spaces and one of them can be light proofed (perhaps a tent large enough for flowering) then you are well on your way. You can't believe how many solutions you can find if you are vegging in one area and flowering in another light proof area. Then once you have determined...
