HPS, MH, Floros, Phillips Cermamic Metal Halide has 'em all beat.

    - It think your being a little over zealous in your analysis of the spectral graph from phillips website. Indeed i think you don't know what lumens are and what that method of measurement is used for. -The graph lists relative energy clearly on the left, meaning that it's normalized over the...

2ft Vertical Space - Enough for Scrog?

I would say no, you'll have no space to work, and you need to work on it constantly. 16" deep isn't real spectacular either.

Is it possible to combine lamp+room ventilation?

Except it's not a room, a cool tube is a closed system with a single inlet and a single outlet. A room has dozens of inlets if you are extracting air from it. Sucking the air out of a room is the right thing to do, with a cool tube you should be blowing the air through the system.

Is it possible to combine lamp+room ventilation?

You definately want to blow the air over your bulbs and not suck it through, sounds like you guys both have your fans in reverse.

Thanks. What do you use to filter the air for dust before it passes over the bulbs?

Shutting off fan and light simultaneously w/ cool tube.

3 Questions: - I just got a new cool tube reflector. I'd like to know if it's ok to shut off my fan at the same time as my light, or if should I buy two timers so my fan can run for 20 min after my light shuts off? This is my bloom set-up. I have a 400W hps and a 280 cfm inline fan, the cool...

    Grinder

$80 bucks is rediculous though, if that is what that space case costs, there are other similar grinders on the market that are half that price and are milled in the proper manner.

    Grinder

no I'm saying that when they made that grinder on ebay, they took a cylinder of aluminum and bored out the inside, they then stuck/welded the tines on. This is no good. Now the space case picture you posted, you can clearly tell that is a quality grinder because you can see a little halo...

    Grinder

So i think the tines are stuck on after the fact. On my grinder the milling operation left much smaller swirl marks that distintly weave around the tines. In that picture the marks are much more circular and lead directly up to the base of the tine, there's no tool you can attach to a cnc that...

The problem with the pins is they don't grind, they tear up the weed and you get a nest that won't fall through the holes. whereabouts are you?

    Grinder

A coffee grinder is freakin terrible, it terrorizes sweet sweet bud that someone took the time to make, it's a flower we're trying to grind. The reason you get so much "pollen" (you're actually being fooled) is that the coffee grinder pulverizes bits of the flower and leaf matter into particles...
