    This is wrong. You CAN have a 15a duplex receptacle on a 20a circuit(as long as it is not the only receptacle on the circuit). Alternatively, you CAN NOT have a 20a outlet on a 15a circuit. Also, for a 20a circuit you should use 12 gauge wire. That is all.
