a mh will give you denser vegetative growth, with closer node spacing, an is preferable in veg. However a hps will do fine too!

If your roots are not in the res yet - i.e. they haven't poked out the bottom of your netcups, then just disconnect the pump that powers the irrigation hub and add your ph down/up straight to the res. Let the bubbles mix it for 5-10 minutes and then check the ph again and add more if necessary...

I'd recommend purchasing some cannazym too; it breaks dead plant matter down into a form which can be reabsorbed by the plants - thus keeping your res nice n clean.

Use the gh flora nova two part nutes. These are the easiest to use and one of the best on the market. GH says the nutes are not designed for cannabis cultivation but they fit its requirements perfectly.

EC can be measured with a multi meter, or just an ec pen - check ebay or any hydro store leswscott, you can raise the ec as much as you want, provided you dont burn the plants. dont give the plants any nutrients till they have three sets of leaves though.

scrog is defo your best option mate i think - you mention growing three different strains, well that's always gonna be difficult in just the one bubble box system because you can't tailor the nutes to fit each type of strain. So neither of the three will reach their max potential - obviously...

I am actually using 5 circular air stones and one long 8 inch air stone at the moment, so you could be right redi jedi. Unfortunately i have no spare air stones lyin about so i can't test this atm. Though the pump could be faulty too cause although the pump is not too hot, the air it's pumping...

there is only one outlet of the air pump, so to connect this to the manifold a larger piece of tubing is used. the manifold then splits down into six smaller outlets which are the right size for airline tubing - which then attaches to the air stones in the rez cheers for the responses so far
