honey oil - made using butane. a tutorial.

have you ever had dark chocolate honey oil? it practically forms into its own smooth black ball. You can poke the clump with a paper clip to pull it out of the water and it's like a melted chocolate glob. It's always beautiful. -tear-.

honey oil - made using butane. a tutorial.

I edited that, i left out about how much it darkens the oil.

honey oil - made using butane. a tutorial.

To save time, effort, get more oil, and get it super potent DARK amber (looks like fudge). When you've finished scraping your oil up and there is still a bunch that you can't pick up, just pour a little bit of moonshine or rubbing alcohol onto the glass. Then just swish it all around or...

Wont Stop Growing! What to DO?

I've snapped a huge cola while bending it 3 weeks into flowering... led to tears in the wall and everything. I just hung that sucker up roughly the same angle it was and it healed. Had a big nuckle/knot in the stem it but it did just fine.

    4x4 flower room 1 600w or 2 400w?

No matter what bulbs you pick, you're only going to get decent light penetration 3 feet down... 2ft if they are very bushy and cramped indicas. So I'd say aim for 4ft tall plants maximum. If they are mostly sativas flower at 18 inches, if they are mostly indica flower at 24 inches. Taking into...

    growing

    A. it's called "skunk number 1" B. it's called "nutrients" or "nutes" not "nurts" C. depends what medium you are using, and what kind of buds you want.

    Should i take the deal?

Besides... simple fact remains if you THINK you are giving them too much light (which isn't going to happen with only 400 watts) then you can just move the lights 6-12 inches farther from the plants...

    Should i take the deal?

We have done grows, we don't need the mathematical interpretations to know what is needed. That 250watt bulb will be enough but that 400watt will be better. The only time you should consider the light-jargon is when considering which types of lights to use. When it comes down to the simple fact...

is a 600 watt too much for this???

The 600w HPS will be enough, don't waste electricity and risk the plants touching the CFLs and burning for a while. As long as you have decent airflow and its getting air from outside the small area, you'll have enough co2. You'll have much bigger worries like nutrients/PH/bugs/mold/root...

    Should i take the deal?

it wouldn't be 200w per square foot obviously it would be less (area of a circle not a rectangle)... but in the end the 400 watt would be ideal as long as you don't run into temperature issues. There is a certain limit to how much light the plants will use but you aren't close. The 400w will...

    ventilation in a cupboard

obviously.... and that 600 watt shouldn't be any closer than 1ft... but also don't put it any farther than 4ft from the lowest buds. The closer, the better.

My highest reccomendation for this inexpensive unit,ZERO SMELL & cheap.

IDK if anyone mentioned this yet but for the record... it turns 3 oxygen molecules into 2 ozone molecules (O2 into O3) not 1 oxygen molecule into 2 ozone. Ozone breaks down generally within 15 minutes so i'd say having it on for a set amount of time very 15 minutes should be fine. and no reefro...

    what's needed to grow 10+pounds

for 1 pound every 3 months... i'd say this would work decently: 3x6 grow area 2 600watt HPS lights(or Metal Halide/HPS switchable) 18 5-gallon buckets from home depot Shitloads of soil or water. Some nutrients. Lots of time, love, luck. That way you'd only have to pull of a little under an...

is a 600 watt too much for this???

I must disagree, CFLs are as capable of just as tight inter nodal length as any HID, you just need to keep them close. CFL's can manage 6 nodes in a 2 inch seedling just as well as an HID if they are placed within 1/2 an inch of the seedlings. Also, for a person intending to grow 4 plants under a...

    Growing In an Apartment

Also it's always a plus if in your lease-agreement the landlord agrees to give 24 or 48 hours notification before they do any sort of visits.(I have 48 hours)

    Growing In an Apartment

I grow in my apartment, I've had some close calls (that damn lady from Cox Cable wanted to look in the closet on the other side of the outlet to see if there were wires...even with the lights off she must've noticed but never said anything) but the landlords never check the closet. Just make...

Flourescent Spectrum for 12/12 from seedling

Definitely use the 6500k for starts, but after the first 4 weeks (when they should have all just started their flowering phase) i'd suggest switching to 3000k. The more you switch to 3000k after that first month, the better it'll be. But if you can't afford extra bulbs, i'd say go 50/50.

    How does my setup look?

That 600watt hps can grow acceptable buds up to 4ft away. Switch to Metal Halide so that those plants fill out a little bit about 2 weeks before you start flowering, that way they are already filled out by the time you hit them with the HPS.

is a 600 watt too much for this???

This means that your 600w will do fine, if you were to use a 400w you would want to keep it no more than 3ft from the lowest bud sites. That 600watt will let you put your light all the way up to the top of the closet and still decent buds will still grow all the way at the bottom.

is a 600 watt too much for this???

I'm going to attempt to make this as simple as possible because too few people understand the concept of light intensity. Unfortunately, I'm not going to make any diagrams. Perhaps someone will be willing to make some and put some up using this explanation, but I will not. I'm also going to make...
