How long is the vegatative stage outdoors?

Old guy here. The melody started playing in my head as soon as I read the lyrics. Had a big crush on Marilyn when I was a kid.

Outdoor plants going into flowering too early, I think

Freaky. No idea why they are flowering so soon, but it looks like you have a boy and a girl so you can breed minis if you want.

Input on Soil Mixture and Grow Bags

My suggestion would be to start the plants in something less hot like a good quality general potting mix, then transplant to FFOF when at least a few weeks old. Doesn't make sense to spend extra money and effort to add peat in order to "weaken" the mix, then spend money and effort later on nutes...

Input on Soil Mixture and Grow Bags

What was his reason for so much peat? FFOF is a very good mix on its own, but the perlite does help.

    shrimp compost?

Fact is, growing good pot does not have to be complicated. This is a great site and I've learned tons here, but you really have to learn to filter out a lot of unnecessary information in most cases. In this particular thread, everyone is clearly trying to help, but in lots of others you get a...

    shrimp compost?

I use MaxSea, which smells just like the ocean when you mix it. Been using it for quite a few years and my plants have always smelled like pot, not sea water.

There you go! Call it very early supercropping.

    S.O.S. Frisian Dew is down

The rest of the plant looks far too healthy for it to have damped off, and they usually fall over at the soil level when this happens. I agree that it looks like it was damaged.

Will We See Reliably Uniform And Stable Strains In The Future?

Was just tending my two little autos and a thought came to mind. I can get a pack of 30 tomato seeds and when grown out, can expect 30 very similar plants. As we well know, this is certainly not the case with cannabis. Is this simply because we haven't had the same long history of improved...

Please Help Me Determine When To Supercrop

I just popped the seeds for my real grow earlier in the week, but this is my project plant, a 5+ week old Blueberry X Lemon Kush. Just running this one to do some experimenting with care and technique. I've topped it twice and have its four main stems going well now and plan to supercrop it. My...

    Seedling Soil

You need to pre-moisten most, if not all seed starter mixes due to their make-up. Just planted some seeds this morning and did it myself. Dump out your cups and find the seeds, then put them in water or a very wet paper towel. Spread all of the soil out in a potting tray or baking pan and...

Saving money growing cannabis? Your thoughts?

You know what? You're right. I was thinking of plants already in the garden when I wrote that. Before that point, you could have a seed not crack or a new seedling damp off or something. Still, I'd figure a good 4 out of 5 should make it if you receive quality seeds and don't make big mistakes.

Saving money growing cannabis? Your thoughts?

Not much. Can't say since we don't know your possible sources in your area, what type of nutes you'll use, etc., but in my area of California I could buy everything I need for what you describe for no more than $75 and could do it for less with a little shopping around. Of course, some of that...

Saving money growing cannabis? Your thoughts?

Are you going guerrilla, or will this be in a place you can tend closely? I have no experience dong guerrilla so don't know about losses, but if it's in a garden I think anyone with general gardening knowledge should expect near 100% survival.

Saving money growing cannabis? Your thoughts?

Any chance you can do photos instead? If you are looking for return, autos are not even close when you compare yield against dollars invested. Here's some info on one of my outdoor plants last year. OG Kush seed $10 Ocean Forest soil for 10g pot $12.50 MaxSea Ferts ~$10 Misc ~$5 Total outlay...
