why do you hate political correctness?

I thought "breeder" was an epithet for a straight person from the perspective of a LGBT person?

Thanks man! Good to hear on the A+B through end of flowering. I haven't tried the PK 13/14 but as I understand it that's a one week dose sorta thing and I'm past the point where I would have wanted it anyways. I've had good luck finishing with just that dry Koolbloom and tap water in coco, and...

    Marijuana Morning sickness, Cannabinoid Hyperemesis.

I've heard this called "cannabis acidosis" and the concept has been around for a long time. I've never had this issue but do have friends who have complained of an issue that might fit the description, though it's tough to nail anything down with potheads as you may already well know.

What is this on my leafs?

lol that looks exhausting...how many plants are you running?

    Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

That's really interesting, do you have the scrubber hooked to an attic fan or something? Don't mean to be so nosy but I'm curious about your setup now.

    Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

I dig it, that's what I thought. I'll be honest, I've always used a range from really cheap POS chinese inlines to CANS with the same cheap ActiveAir fan speed controllers without any issues to speak of. I just never go anywhere below about 70% because I'm usually not working with that much...

    Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

I didn't know that, is that similar to how you often can't run a controller below about 50% on some of the more cheaply constructed inline fans because of their design?

I think I remember you saying that you don't have tops on your stacks, so now this makes so much more sense. But don't you have an extraction fan and scrubber for the entire room that you have your silos in if for no other reason than to control the odor?

    Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

Are we talking about two different things here? Are you referring to extraction of the heat from the bulb in addition to the extraction/air exchange of the space itself? If so I get where you're saying that it's not helpful to have an active exhaust in addition to a floor flan blowing up at the...

    Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

That's my thought process, you can always dial down an over-powered fan but you can't dial up an under-powered fan past its maximum CFM rate.

I don't use cooltubes either, but surely you're not saying that you don't need any extraction fan at all for a bare bulb vert grow? That's absolutely not the case in my experience. What am I missing here?

    Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

Which one, the CAN above, or the one I mentioned? I always go 6" for 600w and 8" for 1000w regardless of bulb orientation.

    A Gram Per Watt? How?

I see what you're saying now. When I refer to a particular GPW I mean the overall yield in the space under the bulb, not the per-plant yield. So when I say I can expect .5 GPW as a baseline for a particular setup, say a horizontal 400w (like yours, or like my "overflow tent" that I have in the...

    A Gram Per Watt? How?

Wait, I'm confused -- you have these flowering under one 400w, yes? As an example, if you were to just use the .5 GPW number for horizontal I mentioned above (and again, that would really be a shot in the dark, but if you did) you could roughly plan on around a half pound of dried and manicured...

    A Gram Per Watt? How?

I can't tell you what you should expect from your plants, I can only comment on my own experience. What I'm saying is that in my personal experience with coco, given the variables I described, I can expect the numbers I mentioned. You may get less or you may blow any estimate out of the water. I...

    A Gram Per Watt? How?

No, that would be extremely disappointing if I were referring to wet weight. GPW numbers generally refer to dry, manicured weight prior to the cure, and that's what I'm referring to when I quote a particular GPW.

    Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

I use a 750CFM fan with a 1000w bare bulb currently and it's perfect, wouldn't recommend going much smaller. Always better to stick with a higher CFM rating and dial it down than to not have enough air flow.

    Mt Dew got em!!!

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, "If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately." Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he...

    A Gram Per Watt? How?

Really tough to say and there are a lot more variables than just overall grams/watts. Veg time needed to achieve a given yield, overall efficiency of lighting, quality relative to yield, etc. With that said, in my experience of running pure coco and with the assumption that we're talking about a...

1000w|vert|scrog|coco|KISS donut of love featuring Bodhi gear

Here's the score...I have kept poor track of the days, some of what I've posted above has not been accurate. They're at 50 days since the flip today and 48 days in the pics above, not 47 days. I've kinda let it get to late flowering right under my nose, so it's time to start thinking about the...
