Yeah bro. Basically they will nearly charge the same in shipping costs. Our customs and excise make us pay duty on the total cost including shipping costs and insurance. Its bullshit. I used to have loads of problems when I was buy performance parts for a car I used to own.
WOW. That seems rather self defeating. Thanks for the perspective and the lesson. I had no idea!

I would agree with Dirty but veer toward the def rather than the crawly side. I have one big ass fan leaf that done the same sort of thing. If I remember I'll get a pic of it tomorrow...its still on the plant and looks healthy enough not to pull off just now.

Cheers guys. Its hard trying to find the little fuckers.

I'm going to give them a spray of some stuff I have for mites and on the next feed, add some dolomite lime. That should hopefully fix a cal mag deficiency if its that?

Update day 24 of flower.

Maybe my issue was calcium. As the spots seemed to have gone yellowish.

They will need a feed tomorrow. So will top dress some dolomite lime.

First photo of the side on shot. Second of the two super skunks and last photo of the wwxbb. Can clearly see the wwxbb is a faster flowering plant. Normally they are done in 7 weeks and I'm sure it will be no different this run, But man are they enjoying that bare bulb.

I'm just playing around with a spare shade. Taking it apart for when I get the second 600w bulb. No one seems to have any vert lamp holders at the moment. Or they want too much.

In the meantime i have just been raising and lowering each day the 1000w so everywhere gets a good hit. Not sure if this does anything.

Is there anyway to show the top of your tent and how you are extracting the heat from the tent.

Also not sure if you put them in a cool tube. .
Hey man. Thanks for stopping by.

All I have done is positioned my filter /fan slightly off center to allow the the light to hang in the middle and then its ducted out the top vent and then out of the room into under the house. (underfloor heating lol)

I have that box fan on the floor and you set it on low. If I set it on high it actually raises the temps.

Ill try and take a photo tonight if I get a chance :).

Thanks I'd like to see how you set it up. I'm actually thinking about going vertical. I have a few ideas, but would like to see yours.

also maybe it's just me, but how did you train your plants (to grow along or in the trellis ) I saw the super cropping from the first few pages.

No probe. I topped, then supercropped. I should have let the wwxbb grow taller before topping.

I have just been using garden twistie ties to tie branches back against the trellis. Used a couple zip ties the other night.

I use a 750CFM fan with a 1000w bare bulb currently and it's perfect, wouldn't recommend going much smaller. Always better to stick with a higher CFM rating and dial it down than to not have enough air flow.

Which one, the CAN above, or the one I mentioned?

I always go 6" for 600w and 8" for 1000w regardless of bulb orientation.
Yeah I have a 6 inch there at the moment. An 8 inch would work better, but a 10 inch for some reason is cheaper here than a 8 inch. So ill go for a 10inch. Then ill never have cooling issues again lol. Plus I have a fan speed controller.

And in sealed hoods those rules of thumb make sense. This isn't that; the objective is to simply assist the hot air's natural desire to rise and exit near the top. I never put my lamps in cool tubes, I lose too much light.

A box fan on its back, raised off the floor so it gets flow through it of course, is all that's needed, even for three lamps running at 1000W each!

I don't use cooltubes either, but surely you're not saying that you don't need any extraction fan at all for a bare bulb vert grow? That's absolutely not the case in my experience. What am I missing here?
