I am using the recipe for success nutes, When I look at the roots there are nearly a black slime on it. Looks like the nutes are sticking to the roots, the dark dark brown color in the thrive alive bottle is what it looks like. I am adding boost first then I add the rest to a cup and throw them...

Why is bud so much stronger now then back in the day??

Well if you just run the led Lights with the hps you can't really see the LEDs. But just the leds, the bud looks purple.

Let's say my friend has a plant.. 400w hps is what's in use but wondering if you could switch off each day or whatever time interval with a led panel. Not sure if it has been done but please bring your knowledge to this newby!!

man their doing ok, the leaves were all looking yellowish and the bottom ones were drying out from the tip and eventually fell off. I am planning on starting a hydro grow.

Alright I am starting my first hydro grow, without people ragging on me to hard... what type of hydroponic system would you suggest? I planned on doing the ebb and flow but the aeroponics looks very intresting, I am a beginner.. thats why im asking for help on the best/simple/easy grow set up.
