Alright I am starting my first hydro grow, without people ragging on me to hard... what type of hydroponic system would you suggest? I planned on doing the ebb and flow but the aeroponics looks very intresting, I am a beginner.. thats why im asking for help on the best/simple/easy grow set up.

DWC allows me to do five day business trips and still keep em going using 5 gallon buckets. If I built a bigger reservoir I could likely go longer. Please note, I only do this in extreme circumstances like work trips that I cannot avoid. Check your plants and system every single day. Two/Three times if possible. Bugs, Nute issues, PH issues, etc.... are all much easier to fix if you catch them in the early phases.

Airoponics is really cool and very productive. But a finicky science to nail down. Sprayers get clogged, pumps get clogged, etc... I have a bud that is very good with airo and he had a pump fall over and not adequately pump solution to the nutes....took 1/3 his crop :(

This can happen with DWC too, but I use redundant air pumps to minimize it and top off with H2o and nutes when my ppm meter and H20 levels tell me to. Certainly more often towards the end of the phase.

DWC=Deep Water Culture. The roots float in a solution of H2O and nutrient solution. You use airpumps like aquarium pumps (I use more industrial ones) to oxygenate the water. There is a separate forum under hydroponics here for it with some excellent tutorials.
