Is it safe to leave a 250 wt hps running for 3-4 days unattended? I want to start a grow now, but I know I will have to leave them for a couple days over thankgiving weekend. Any advice?

I have read that you should use a grow for the first 2-3 weeks, then a bloom for the remainder until harvest.

I want to start my grow, but will eventually have to leave my plants unattended for about 3-4 days to go home for thanksgiving. I understand it is never a good idea to leave lights unattended, but would it be safe to leave for 3 days with 250 hps lighting running 18/6 for the sake of my crop?

Can I use the hps light straight through with an autoflowering plant since they skip the veg stage and go straight to flowering?
