Build your own box. It may take a few weeks but hell by that time your plants will be ready for the box anyway.

Can you not buy a ready made speed controller for that type of fan? The type you plug the fan into directly? Sometimes we tend to out think the situation.

Buy a seperate fan. Sometimes as enlightened stoners we tend to overthink things. If would suck ball to start a fire because we wired something wrong.
