Leaves are curling down. Can't be overwater, could be underwater?

I'm growing top drip in coco. Jack's nutes at about 900ppm, ph 5.8. I'm still trying to get my drip system setup so until that I'm just hand watering once a day. Is this an underwatering condition?

    Which diode is better

These strips that you linked are not comprised of lm301h diodes. The series name is 'H' but that has nothing to do with lm301h diodes. Their efficiency is significantly less than lm301h, they state they are 159 lm/w or 2.7 umol/j, whereas the lm301h are 220 lm/w or 3.10 umol/j.

Bridgelux EB Gen 3 High Output 4ft Strips

They are definitely not "significantly" more efficient. They test the Gen HO @25c so obviously they are being cooled somehow. If you reduce the current and run them at .7 what temp would they be at without any cooling (no heatsink)? If it was 25c then they are the same efficiency.

    Which diode is better

Does Samsung sell the H in strips, I can only find product code for the diodes themselves?

    Strip Wiring - Double Checking.

I don't think I am explaining myself very well. As long as I am wiring the positives(+) and negatives(-) correctly, it does not matter which "+" or "-" I am using? For example, is this wiring correct?

    Strip Wiring - Double Checking.

Just so I understand, can I instead connect the 5 parallel connections right next to the serial connections. Meaning can I connect the negative(-) that is right next to the positive(+) that is already wired? It is confusing to me with so many, well 2 each per strip, connectors. Not sure if the...

    Strip Wiring - Double Checking.

I'm wiring 10 x Gen 3 strips. I'm doing series wiring in pairs, so 5 series, then parallel wiring the 5 pairs together. In the image, is this correct, that I can't parallel the positive strip if they are in series on the positive?

HLG-185H-48 running at 150w efficiency question.

Wow, good information, I guess I should have dug a litter deeper in the spec sheet. This is interesting because the graph shows that efficiency does not start to drop until below %50 load. And if running at 115v it starts to drop a little past %80. In any case I should be good. loco41 you are...

HLG-185H-48 running at 150w efficiency question.

I'm going to be running 10 EB Gen 3 2 footers, with the 185H-48 in 2 series of 5 parallel. This gives me a sweet spot of 7.8A at 19.15V and about 150w. I've heard that if you run your driver at lower wattage efficiency goes down. Do I lose a lot of efficiency running a 185w (actually 187.2w)...

Is there a way to recycle DTW water?

Recirculating flood and drain does not save a lot of water. When the plants get fed most of the water in the rez is pumped out to the buckets so much that if the rez was only half full to start with their would not be enough water to pump out and the pump would burn up. When I change my rez...

This is a leaf symptom I've seen before but can't figure out what is causing it...

I just meant that it started from seed, if that even matter. There is no way I am under watering, but I might be under nuting as I've not added any nutrients. I'll try transplanting and giving them some added nutrients.

This is a leaf symptom I've seen before but can't figure out what is causing it...

These are seedlings that are now about a foot tall. 1 gallon pot with roots organic soil. Watered only when pot has dried down. Basically been watering every 4 days or so. Watered with plain chlorine filtered water, no nutes. These are outside under shade cloth, the temps are high at mid to...

Newly transplanted clones showing rust spots on leaves.

A few days ago I transplanted some clones into rockwool cubes. And now about 20% of them are showing blotches of rust. PPM - 480 PH - 5.9 - however, I just caliberated my ph meter and it was off so the actual ph was around 6.3. I've researched rust spots, not sure I found a universal consensus...

Does lateral root growth promote lateral branch growth?

It has been said that marijuana roots will grow only so far vertically but tend to grow horizontally farther. I recently started vegging in a shallow but wide bucket to give more room for this lateral growth, and the plants branches seem to be growing more horizontally also, much more squat and...

Taking cuttings from flowering plants (AKA Monster Cropping) - Question

80 is not too high for clones, as long as they are kept lightly moist and humid. However, you need very little light for rooting. One bulb would be suffice.

Taking cuttings from flowering plants (AKA Monster Cropping) - Question

Just to follow up, my clones rooted far quicker than I had imagined they would. Some rooted in 7 days, most rooted in 10 days, and all rooted by 14 days, very much like regular clones. These pics were taken at 14 days. I ended up cutting out the buds on about half the clones and leaving them in...

    Very Humid in Grow Room

Exactly. That dehum will increase your room temp by about 10 deg. What is the humidity of the air outside? If it is relatively low get an exhaust fan and exchange the air. If outside is hot and muggy also then you need an AC unit. Get yourself a mini split system and it won't be an issue that...

Taking cuttings from flowering plants (AKA Monster Cropping) - Question

I have some outdoor mothers that I unwittingly let slip into flower, probably only 10 days in, and I need to take cuttings asap. I've read the "how tos" but still have a question. And I've actually tried this once before but it took over a month and ended up only about 25% rooted, so I'm hoping...
