Cutting Circles - Wood, Rubbermaid, metal

Definately get yourself a drill and hole saw to help out with the wood cutting. And for rubbermaid's I just use a regular box cutter. It seems to work just fine for me. Haven't had to cut into any metal yet but I'm about to in the next couple days building a dresser grow. Any suggestions for...

    Starting All New Grow

Not to mention, if you're worried about paper trails and government control, then I hope you don't have a driver's license, social security number, birth certificate, public library cards, marriage license, credit cards, grocery market shopper's cards, internet or any kind of utility bill in...

    Starting All New Grow

Why go through such ridiculous troubles when you don't have to? Such paranoia from people here that it makes me laugh sometime. I mean seriously, paper trails? Who cares? If the goverment was looking at credit card receipts of light setups, then I'm pretty sure we'd all have agents living across...

    Starting All New Grow

There is no reason not to have your lighting setup sent you your house. After all you're a tomato grower. That's besides the fact that people use lighting setups for hundreds of different kinds of plants.

2 Plants almost thier...1 week left!!!!

Wow! In all actuality, considering the expenses, thats actually a fair price for something in wall like that. I've been looking to get an in wall semi-aquatic tank for my turtles and lizards. I've been priced anywhere from $4000-6000 just for the installation and tank without any equipment.

    Do I have enough light?

Are you implying it costs over a hundred dollars for a cfl grow? You must be crazy. With twenty bucks I could build anyone their own cfl setup.

Yay or nay for Miracle grow

It really all depends on what type of MG you use and how well you grow. I simply won't use another form of MG in my life, its just a personal preference due to all the problems I've personally seen from their soils. Some types produce terrible gnats, some produce nute burn, others have poor ph...

    So whats your occupation?

Having that much "vacation time" is definately a plus, but it gets pretty old after the first month or two. I should be getting unemployment but i haven't been able to claim it because they have had my paperwork messed up at the employment office for a few years since I tried to claim it for...

    Miracle Gro potting soil

I was going to post some pictures of first time growers plants getting nute burn from only MG soil alone, no extra nutes added, but I decided just to wish you well on your growing journey.

    Miracle Gro potting soil

And I'm sorry to you too Lacy but I strongly defend my position. With over 20+ large and small scale grows, using multiple types of store bought and self-mixed soils, I have settled on my own self-mixed soil and haven't had soil problems since. I only stated what I did about MG because of the...

    Do I have enough light?

Well you can problem answer this on your own. If the buds are sparse, stringy and not very tight, then add more light.

    Green_dreams & Kochabs Big Journal

Following the GrowFAQ to a "T" would certainly not grow plants to their full potential. The FAQ needs a lot of work. I was only speaking from personal experience with plants of the same general genetics. Good luck to you and I'll be following along to see your results.
