Well, I'm currently doing LST, it's really easy to do, and the new side growth is doing great. Choose whatever you like, I went for LST and I'm quite happy how it's going so far :)

8000 lumens should be enough for sprouting, lights should be on before the seeds sprout as the seeds sprout by looking for the light. If there's no light, it will take longer for them to sprout. And yes, plain white paper should be ok for reflecting. Not ideal, but ok.

For vegging you want 6500K bulbs or something close to that, and for flowering something around 2700K.

You're looking for a higher N value during vegging and higher PK values during flowering. So, something like 15-5-5 for vegging and 5-15-15 for flowering.

You can use outdoor soil, just put it in your oven on a high temperature for half an hour, and that should kill most of the living organisms in the soil. Let it cool down and use it. But I'm going to warn you, that soil is going to stink while it's in the oven.
