You sure you have a barometer and not a hygrometer? A barometer measures air pressure, a hygrometer measures humidity.

I have sprouted seedlings with 20% humidity without a dome. I suppose it's a good idea to remove the dome so that all feeding comes from watering the roots. If a humidity dome is in place the plant won't have to focus on growing a root system because the foliage can absorb moisture.

Can't help you, but go here and type in "aerogarden" and move the slider to "search titles only". You'll get lots of aerogarden threads.
