It's not a good idea to grow if time is an issue. I'm not sold on autoflowering strains. You might as well get something that you want to smoke, and yeah, feminized seeds are fine(use them myself). Growing from seed at 12/12 will shave some time off the grow, but somewhat diminish your yield...

2700k is the one. 6500k(daylight) has more blue light. Pretty sure you could tell the difference.

If this is for a PC grow, forget about using the HPS bulb. I PC case with a remote ballast isn't very stealthy and I'd be worried about heat issues. One 65W CFL is all you need, maybe only a 42W. You need a soft white bulb for flowering and one daylight bulb for veging.

Check ebay. I've seen them under $20.

FYI, this is the kinda shit you should work out before you start popping seeds. How big is your space? Make sure you read the GrowFAQ.

Sorta. You can take cuttings when you have 3-4 nodes. Taking cuttings probably isn't as stressful to the plant as you may think.

Do you have a ballast for that bulb or are you trying to plug it into a standard socket?

The best way is to use a scope, but outside of that you just wait until most of the hairs turn brown/red. If you still see white hairs/pisils, it's too soon.

Depends, was the soil saturated or dry? If it's dry, water it. The plant should bounce back soon. If the soil is soaked, don't water again until the top layer of soil dries. You might have heat issues too. What's the average temp in there?

You need to bring fresh air in and vent the heat away. Could be as simple as opening a window with a fan in fron of it and cracking the door so air can escape. For really hot days I use a window AC.

Sounds like a plan. Did it myself over the winter and made some bomb-ass cookies. It only took one to get me stoned and for the hell of it I took two one day and achieved one of the most intense highs I've ever experienced. Funny thing is that it takes up to 90 minutes for the shit to kick in...

You won't need to use any nutes for the first 4-6 weeks. The soil you have will feed them plenty.

Maybe not bone dry, but noticeably dry. Poke your finger in the soil to check.
