Some strains just plain smell more than others. I've had 3wk. old VEGGING plants stink up my basement.... on the other hand, i've also had some that hardly smell at all, even late in flowering! Kinda pisses me off when they don't stink, i love that sweet skunky aroma!

They both make good points. I run a 400watter, and when i first got it i thought 50000+ lumens was the shit! Then i find out a 600 put out around 95000 lumens. But whats the point in havin all that power if u can't keep it cool ya know? It gets to a point where u gotta have the damn light so far...

It depends on how many gals ur growin(sq. ft.) and room configuration imo. That's a big difference from 400 to 1000 watter.

That's part of the beauty of growing.... u can flower whenever u want to.... or don't. Its all up to the grower and most times how much space the grower is workin with that determines when to flip the switch.

Idk about a 70 watter... but i got a 150hps bulb from home depot many moons ago, the sametime i was tryin to grow that lanky thing in the pic, with hopes that it would work in a regular light socket since it had the same base size on the bulb and NO GO. It'll say on the box what kind of ballast...
