oh! topping... I've posted a few postes today about it.... here's my plants, planted same time one topped one not.. I topped these ones at I think the 4th or 5th node also I did it last grow too and have harvest pix..... oh yeah and you wanna top before putting them to flower.... it's...

... but it's still a cfl..... you might wanna get more light... but that's just what I've seen from CFL's I was readin a guys thread today... he's got like 4 or 5 of them on his plants... but like I said I'm probably completely wrong....

they are alright.... there was a pretty big scare over the christmas season.... I went away for 5 or 6 days and the one I topped almost died.... it used to have some larger sun leafs on it... the plant used them to survive... but she seems to have made a recovery...

this also has to do with the soil... if you have something like a maricle grow with "time release ferts" watering and flushing will only make it worse...... find out what kinda soil you have......

fdd it's halarious you can say that with a smile.... I'd be made at myself if I killed my little baby by feeding her too much water..... mind you I only have 3 small plants *by comparision* and one very small clone....... if one of them died, I'd cry..... I had 4 and one went male.... it's...

lol isn't an envior bulb a cfl??? I know it's 200 watts but I'd get two or three of them if your having more then one plant..... cfl's don't spread thier light well so it doesn't get under the canopy..... I might be wrong.... I use HPS so.... *thumbs up* good luck :D

did you use regular old dirt you got in your back yard or does your soil have time release ferts..... it should say something to that effect if it has added fert's that will be released over time.... if it's over watering then flushing will cause more harm then good..... when you fertilize do...

alright.... I pulled them out and took pix..... let me know waht you think.... I know there is some yellowing on lower leafs.... it's due to lack of light hitting them... I uhhhh... kinda filled my cabinet a bit to bushy *that's why I only topped one they take up more space*

if you look at my crop of pix what bud would you rather have ;) it's pretty easy to tell which one was topped LOL

it'd probably help out alot more if you let everyone know the type of soil *brand name* your using, if you have used any nutes.... how old your plants are....ya know... a pic of a messed up leaf *not even the whole plant* doesn't tell a lot..... there are a number of things that could be...

I'd flush the soil and let it sit about a week til the soil dries out a bit...... I think you want to use 2 or 3 times amount of water as you have soil when flushing, so say you have a 1 gallon *4 litre* pot.... you want to use 2-3 gallons *8 - 12 litres* of water. or if you have lots of...

did you flush your soil first????? or are you even using soil??? more info...... Take FDD2BLK's advise!!!!! *bows down to the man!* your plants are just rediculious ssooooo envious!

yeah I know... and if you look at my pic you should bury your plant to close to or to the first set of leafs or branches, roots will actually start to grow out of the main stock, and fill out the top layer of soil.... my seedlings were stretched as well only had the HPS for lights and wasn't...
