First SCROG failed to impress - how to improve?

U have 2000 watts over a 4'x 6' net? each of those lights should cover 5'x5'. u said its a 10 x 10 room. put the 2 lights in a row over a 5x10 net. plant count doesn't matter. fill the screen and then switch the light cycle. do u have a dehumidifier? ull need to be able to remover about 6...

greentrees multiflow bucket system ebb n flow help!!! please!!!

Ur obviously not a beginner, and all the environmental basics seem spot on. id try draining ur res and filling it with 10% nutrient solution with a heavy dose of sterilizing agent. i use 1ml/gal of 30% h202. flood that through your grow sites twice or so. do the same with fresh water to rinse...

greentrees multiflow bucket system ebb n flow help!!! please!!!

i use these same ebb and flows often. i water right when the light turns on, two hours before it turns off, and twice evenly spaced in between. i try to use 15 minute flood cycles, but in my 5 gallon systems i generally have to flood for 30 mins to fill all the way. Do the plants tend to perk up...

    Sentinel MEF-1 E/F system

Be careful using things not intended for water as a res. I have friends who have came home to floods because their improvised res had split under the weight of the water. Make sure u sure a heavy duty one. I can buy used 55 gallon drums from a local organic food packager for cheaper than trash cans.

    new to ebb and flow

id consider filling the entire table with hydroton rather than 6'' pots. with 60 plants and no veg you probably wont need to rotate plants and they'd gain more benefit from the added root space. It also reduces flood and drain time. only downer is the added hydroton to sterilize (or buy) each run

Ebb And Flow Plubming Parts - Advice Please

That's really unfortunate man. i'd try looking in the fountain and pond plumbing and the automatic sprinkler plumbing at home depot in the future or just ordering a couple extra kits in case you want to expand.

Ebb And Flow Plubming Parts - Advice Please

the top 3 are the parts that physically go through the tray and seal. the bottom 5 are different screens and risers. Usually super easy to find

    3x3 Ebb & Flow System ( a few general questions )

I like your set up. Clean and efficient. I used to run tables set up similarly. I would fill the entire tray rather than using pots. This will increase root space as well as cut down on flood and drain time. With this system i flooded four times daily, for 15 minutes. The water would all drain...

    3 plants under 2 600's

Plant count shouldn't affect your Grams per watt. Use all of the well lit area you have. Could be one monster or a hundred babies. But if it were me i would either ventilate those hoods or use open hoods. You are losing a lot of light with that glass and not gaining the benefits of reduced heat.

    Serious humidity problems...

I use them. They are insane. They remove an insane amount of water from the air. Which is what you want to do.

    Flood and Drain table

I flooded for 15 minutes four times daily. once when the lights turned on, once 2 hours before the lights turned off, and twice equally spread between. never at night. same schedule for veg as well, meaning the four feedings are much more spaced out.

    36% Hydrogen Peroxide

You can use peroxide for all sorts of things: Adding dissolved oxygen to nutrient solution or fighting algae/bacteria use 2-3 ml/gal For cleaning hydro systems or hydroton to re use a much stronger solution can be used. Much safer than bleach to sterilize with as the H2O2 leaves only H2O and O2...

    Flood and Drain table

I use something similar to these. Provides different size and flood height options and very easy to disassemble and clean.

    Flood and Drain table

It can be something as simple as a piece of bug screen held on with rubber bands. Mine came with screens that fit right in the pump and drain fittings.

    Flood and Drain table

PS be sure you have good screens on your fill and drain pipes. one small pebble of hydroton can jam a pump and kill an entire crop.

    Flood and Drain table

I realized my best flood table yields when i abandoned the pots and filled the whole 4' x 6' tables with hydroton. also the hydroton takes 60% of the volume in the table allowing the nutrent solution to fill and drain from the table much faster.
