If you plant it root down, the root can dig right in and go to work. If you plant it root UP, the root has to correct itself. Why would you want to cause your baby any complications? You wouldn't.

I always plant them root down. Yes, the pointy end is the root... and plant them NOW.

Theres no TRY to it. Just don't do it. I don't care how close you are to the person you want to tell. If they don't live in your household, don't tell them. Your favorite cousin, Your beloved brother, your best friend... don't let them know.

I'd go with the 3 gallon pots. Fit as many plants as possible (without crowding them) into your space. Probably like 8 plants.
