hey man ur hps looks awfully far away from your plants..especially when ur vegging wiith hps u want to keep them alittle closer. olhyea and try to find a reflector at home depot in the wiring and lighting section...cuz the way it is now ur light is just disapating in open space.

i hate when ppl talk about using foil to reflect light...white walls reflect light better then foil does.

what lights are you using for flowering? 6 23 watt bulbs should be able to grow it....dont use foil to reflect light use the emergency blankets..or if ur closet is already white then just dont hang nothing at all.

i wouldnt use the nutes. go out and make ur dwc system.

i think the water can go up all the way as long as you aerate the water good enough. thats what i did. when you put it in the dwc it will surely grow faster

discredit everyone that has posted before me, because if they knew what they were talking about they would have pointed out that you have the wrong color cfls..which is the reason your plants are stretching. dude you need to get the 6k color daylight cfl bulbs..this is for vegetation. .they give...

oxygenate the water before you water the rock wool, with rock wool you dont need to water everyday....shake up the water in a bottle and water. again heat could be stuntin your plants

you probably mean 47 watt cfls...and i grow with cfls so i know hwat im talkin about.

and yea....people will say keep cfls close...they all can say the same thing cuz thats the generalization that cfls arent strong enough...but in veg stage 6k color cfls are more then enough light for sprouts..i would know i grew 4 6 plants with 6 23 watt cfls and were atlease 8 inches...

dude...im telling you man...dont put the lights so close all you need is like 4 bulb right now...and keep the lights maybe 6 inches away. at what level are you measureing the temp..hopefully in the pot...cuz if ur not i bet inside that pot is over 90

you just proved yourself wrong..your cfls are more then 8 inches away...do you even know how long a inch is? look a foot away...and still short as fuk and bushy. i would have some finish product but the picks are on a diff forum. these are my pics
