thanks it was just some bag seed from a friend. Gonna put it in a bigger container tomorrow. thanks for the help. Lowe's has some CFL's equal 300w has anyone used those that you know of. I will in a few months have a nice big room with 1000w HPS so that should be cool.

I think I narrowed it down,, too much water. I was watering at least once a day and spraying some super foliage spray on the plant and in the soil. I am gonna skip water today and maybe mist a little tonight. I have it in a 16oz party cup and it is almost 3 weeks from seed. here are a few pics...

Wondering how close I should keep my two 42W cfl's from my 2 week old from seed plant? I have them on a y adapter. They are about 1 3/4"-2" away and it doesn't seem very hot at the leaves. Should this be OK it seems to be growing well in a small party cup so far.

I have two 42w CFL's over my plant and wondered how close is too close. It is only 11 days from seed and when I had it outside for 1 day it was perky and nice looking. what exactly makes it a male is it the clusters at the base of branches? I thought the hair like pistils on the stem made it a female LOL well no big deal really just learning its still fun to grow even if it is a waste :(

I have never grown before and wondered what type of grow requires the least daily work? Hydro or soil? So many damn options it is confusing. Thanks for any help
