ill give it a shot. i think the best thing i could do. is clean the tent as best i can with neem oil and soap. then put a sacifice plant in there and see if they come back. if all else fails, ditch the tent and move to a new grow area.. i just dont wanna have to spend another 300 bucks on a tent.
okay so ive been growing for years. and ive tried to get my set up to be as fast cheap and simple as possible. and still be somewhat organic.
this method works for me. and has for many years.
5 gal bucket. black (has to be dark to prevent algae)
aquarium air pump and large air stone/ tubing...
i always thought of the whole teat thing. its just a dwc with some poop in it.. pretty much.. so why not just make the dwc a tea and grow the plant in it?.. using possibly flora nova or some other organic nute and some kinda myco product like great white shark or myco madness
im mostly worried about the damn eggs. i dont wanna start another grow just to have them show up again. so hopefully drowning the tent in soap and oil then frezzeing it will kill em. ill also do another round of neem and soap after it freezes just to make sure.
so the gf thought it was smart to bring her jalapeno into my grow tent because of winter..it was infested with spidermites. thankfully i only had seedlings in there.
I made a dish soap and neem oil spray. and soaked everything down with it. i then took the tent and stuffed it outside to...
if i was to keep breeding. being that that they would be 50/50 male female. is there a chance i could breed the auto trait out or would every generation be auto. if i was to just keep inbreeding until i got what i wanted.
a reg auto is a female or male auto. the auto trait is either someone...
so I got my hands on some fast buds gorilla glue fem autos and buddah seeds magnum reg autos.
my plan is to plant one seed of each for every grow and keep them in the same tent, if i happen to get a male magnum. im gonna let it break its condom all over the glue.
my question is. are the...
op here. ive made my choice as to what im going to try. the results from not having vs having a t5 actinic with a 10K.. is fairly significant. in thc as well as total plant size. i think the actinic bulbs are near uv 415nm and the 10K are a far blue.
the plants seem to reach for the 10K t5s...
i had a t5 with an actinic and a 10,000K but i think the ballast is gone. it was cheap like 30 bucks for the whole thing. .. but id like some more uv light.. like to represent a hot summers day in Africa or right on the equator.. would 380nm work?.. and are LEDs actually a real version of UV...
I really want to find the answer to the question of UV light adding more THC to the plants..but would I get better results adding more watts in cobs? or would that just be bigger plants?..
I don't want to increase yield so much as THC.. I want to try to grow strains that have been known to have...
should I drive them at 42 volts but with a B version? what model would you recommend. i have no training in electrical other than for automotive. do cxas prefer constant voltage over constant current? or vise versa?. the cxa set up i have now uses cpu coolers with 80mm fans driven at around 2100...
i have a CXA light setup with 2 cxa 3070's running on some ebay specials. that are about 80% efficient they run at ~39V 2.5 amps.
I want to replace them with a set of meanwell HLG 100H's but i dont know what voltage to get. Im not wanting to get the adjustable one . and I know that the cxa...
from what ive seen theres only one that is even close, and available commercially, its big Buddhas king kong.. but there might be something out there that is closer..
theres snow on the ground right now... so not at this moment.
ill actually be using a cob set up that im building. using 2 cxa 3070's and a citizen 1825 in the middle. the 2 cxas are driven at 100W's each and the 1825 will be driven at about 190W's so about 390W's total. for propbably no more...
