yeh I got one. Only funny because now I can look back in hindsight.
Long time ago, when I was about 13yo I started my first indoor grow. It was a very simple setup, just some schwag seeds under some 4 foot flouros. I ended up with 4 females and they were about 1/2 way through flowering and full...
Looks like USPS dropped my box in a puddle and stepped on it a few times. It was soggy on the edge and even a little damp inside.
The board is unscratched though, and it fired right up without problems. Thanks for doing an excellent packaging job, guys at HLG. :)
hi.
If I order a "288 LM561C S6 Bin" quantumboard, I'm fine to run that with a HLG-120H-54A right? ..Same driver as the 135w kit. I just wanted to double check before I ordered. thanks :)
**what's the difference between the HLG-120H-54A and the HLG-100H-54A? I see now that there's a...
They look great. If you put them into flower before they were mature, then it can add some extra flowering time. Those look like they have at least 4-5 weeks left. I'm sure they will fill out, the buds are still growing. They do have alot of frost for how far along they are.
nah not really good for growing, wouldn't be worth the time to hook em up imo. You'd do much better with a few cheap led bulbs from walmart..
Those are great for replacing reverse lights and other interior lights in a car though. License plates lights, maybe dome light or glovebox map lights...

ladies under their new light :)
best part :D
born on 4/20!
This board replaced a cxb3590@~80w. The QB is dialed down to about 80w while I fine tune the distance to the plants.
*bonus pic:
hi. I just received my kit.
Just to be sure...on the AC side: white to blue and brown to black right?(green to green of course)...for 110 ac
nm, I found it. I was right.
*aw yeh. fired right up, working great.
looks like she still has a bit of weight to put on man. The crispy bits I see are just undergrowth and old fans...I don't see any crispy stuff near the buds. If crispy stuff starts getting into the buds though, I like to pull em cuz dried leaves up into the buds will promote mold really quick.
@haze010 Can you link any more info on these type of strips? I've heard about them here and there, but is there an informative thread about them somewhere I could read? Or at least a bunch of chatter about them buried in a thread somewhere? thx
sorry OP. not trying to hi-jack, just looking to...
I used to be really into grams per watt. I calculate all my grows to keep track of my progress.
At this point in time though, grow area is my limiting factor. So I'm leaning more towards grams per square foot now. I grow very efficiently either way so wattage isn't as big of an issue as it...
check out usb microscopes. I got a $30 kids toyzRus one (eduscience?) and it takes 20x and 200x pics and video with leds built in. pretty amazing results from a toy.
hahah. man I went from my first pc grow, to a second one, then a speaker box, then the other speakbox, then a dresser, then a bigger dresser, then more speaker boxes...there's no end to it man. Just try to plan ahead to satisfy your new growing addiction lol
when I popped out rivets on my case I used a phillips screw driver and some muscle and just grinded them out. My drill wouldn't fit in there to get at 'em. The aluminium is pretty soft.
heheh I know that feeling. I'm still super excited about my new cobs and it's been like 6 months now.
Btw I agree with @Psyphish about cobs being the best choice, but those require a little more diy. If you're interested in setting those up I'd be happy to help. I have a small veg box for my...
I grew under some ccfl(cold cathodes) and it didn't really do too much..mostly just added a little heat. any additional wattage would be better invested into small led bulbs imo.
cool. I recommend just flat white paint for the inside. Or use some foiltape to seal all the cracks. I wouldn't go for mylar in there.
Can you explain the setup? Like the lights and how the ventilation and fans and filtering and stuff is gonna work out? If you're not sure I'd be happy to help...
