Any funny stories in how you lost a harvest

yeh I got one. Only funny because now I can look back in hindsight.
Long time ago, when I was about 13yo I started my first indoor grow. It was a very simple setup, just some schwag seeds under some 4 foot flouros. I ended up with 4 females and they were about 1/2 way through flowering and full of hairs and frost. Me, being a new grower, thought they were almost done. I planned on harvesting in a few more days.
I wanted to make them bigger! Each plant was about a foot tall with a single bud. I remembered reading in high times that CO2 increased yields. Then I thought...CO2, I have a fire extinguisher..that's CO2 (see it all the time in the movies right?) So, I go grab the fire extinguisher and proceed to spray all my beautiful little plants with it. But what's this...yellow powder alllll over everything!! Turns out it was a dry chemical extinguisher and there was a fine layer of yellow dust covering everything in my bedroom
. The plants though, they took the full force of the spray and were thickly covered in yellow powder. I literally cried for about 20 minutes and I threw them all away. That's how my first grow went.

Another time years later I had a few small plants that were almost finished and I lifted a plant up to take a closer look. Lifted it right into the fan and shredded the top bud off. Which was probably 50%+ of the total plant. I busted up laughing at that one instantly though...it was sad but I had other plants. What made me laugh mostly is that when the bud got shredded it flew everywhere and I was covered in weed confetti...so were the other plants.

great story, love stories like this. I hope you have more in future. Did you ever replace the fire extinguisher? lol
