    humic acid ripoffs?

So, here's what you have just figured out. Just about all liquid blended fertilizers are a ripoff. It is a waste of money. Onto Humic/Fulvic acids. Leonardite shale, a mined rock, is usually >80% humates (humic acid in it's dry state). So, you are right that they are derived from Leonardite...

Outdoor Grow, What are best nutes ???

I must have been drunk or something when I posted that. But making adjustments to a fertilizer blend based on a soil quality analysis is something I can make suggestions for and drive you in the right direction. If you spend the $40 or so to get a soil or water quality analysis, I'll show you...

using expensive fertalizers is a waste of time and money + makes YOU look like a fool!

This is exactly correct. There is no way to quantify quality. This isn't like a comparison between an INTEL or AMD CPU. This isn't comparing longevity of similar household appliances. It is 100% Company A says "We think this blend is best" and Company B saying "No, we think this blend is best"...

    question about tap water ec

Just buy Nitric acid. You can buy 70% Nitric acid for $35/L. It will ultimately be cheaper than the 5-10% solution of the technaflora product.

    Boiled tap water?

This is essentially correct. As you increase the temperature of the water, ionic compounds will usually increase in their solubility and rate of solubility. As long as you are below the solubility limits of the compounds at the temperature it will be used at, like 70°F, it will help dissolve...

Can i get your opinions on this please???

Yeah, growing plants is easy. I know. :) Growing cannabis is exactly the same as growing any other cut flower plant, much like poinsettias, for example.

    Purple stems, Anthrocyanins

Ever since @Kingrow1 posted the thread in the general forum, I started reading more and more on this. I've found a few things written by a guy named David Hershey(read his koalafications here: http://www.angelfire.com/ab6/hershey/bio.htm) "In the fall when leaves senesce, they often produce...

Can i get your opinions on this please???

I don't want you to think I was trolling you. I certainly was not. I know you aren't trying to sell something. And I think the content itself is useful, I just haven't read enough on the topic to verify it. I was was just thinking out loud, I guess.

Can i get your opinions on this please???

Your posting of this and then asking what we think about the content just got me thinking a lot. Mostly in regards to what a basic home grower is going to understand compared to a professional and how everyone tries to work through that to sell shit or market shit. And I use shit specifically as...

Can i get your opinions on this please???

Outside of reading journals on agriculture that cover that topic, there's no way for me or anyone here to properly verify the information without spending money and just fucking around with plants. One a topic like this, it's not feasible. On a topic like your basic fertilizers, it's absolutely...

How safe is pond zyme for smoking?

All the "zyme" products are diluted and marked up forms of the the pond enzymes. So, just because it's more expensive doesn't mean it is any better.

    Boiled tap water?

If you boil the water, basically nothing will happen. There is already chlorine in the water to kill bacteria and other living things, so boiling it will not benefit you. What will benefit you is to get your water tested at a lab.

    question about tap water ec

First thing you should do is get your water tested. Do a google search for water testing labs near you. You should be able to find one that will test your water for $40-60. Once you get the results back, I'd be happy to discuss what they mean with you.

    Reverse Engineering everyone's nutrients

At 99% similarity, I can think of a few things that will make me buy one over another. Though, none of these things are fertilizer. But 100% similarity, which is what I'm trying to show with all of this, it makes no sense to hold onto brand loyalty. Hell, brand loyalty is pointless...

    Reverse Engineering everyone's nutrients

Just for everyone's information: Triple Super Phosphate(TSP) is another name for MonoCalcium Phosphate. Based on the labeling requirements and their list of ingredients, you won't be able to figure it out without a lab analysis. This is a prime example of adding ingredients with the deliberate...

    Nutrient question

In the veg stage, it's technically okay. But you would be far better suited on an 18on/6off cycle, just set it up so the lights are off during mid day, when it's warmest.
