Yeah, for veg, 100W of Samsung does fine in my 24 x 39 inch cabinet.

See, now that does not sound like something "beneficial" to me. Its obvious that UV is damaging to plants - and as Wietefras points out, gains in potency would likely be offset by yield loss. I've said before, the evidence *is* compelling, but IMO, it falls short of being convincing.

Underrating their max current doesn't make them any more efficient. Their stated efficacy rating has nothing to do with their max current - its based how much light they put out at their rated test current of 350 mA. Their max current (either actual or stated) is not really relevant to that number.

No idea what the upper limit might be. But you can fit four 6 inch rockwool cubes in one square foot. That's 64 plants in a 4x4. A plant in a solo cup can yield 20g easily, thats nearly three pounds right there.

It affects both. Done right, a SOG can give huge yields.

I won't go back to soil since I started using Dutch Bucket Hydro. I did fine with GH Maxibloom in my Dutch Buckets. It work and doesn't murder your wallet. Right no I'm trying out MegaCrop and so far she loves it.
