I am well aware of the fact that I wont high. Actually, I offered my buddy $100 to drink one full cup of it. I just wanted to make sure he wouldn't get sick. lol The herb is clean, no mold or any of that shit. Its mostly an experiment to see the difference between curing processes.

Diatomaceous will work, if it stays dry. Rain will wash Diatomaceous away. What you should be asking yourself is why the ants are there? Ants typically stay away from cannabis. My guess is that the plants are farming root aphids. You should dig up some of the dirt, and inspect the roots.

I would also water only when the pot feels light. Too much watering causes the nutes to drain out quicker.
