    Clover topping?

Most of the points made are valid, but I've found that Growweedeasy is a shit source for organic growing. Also, you need to understand the WHY of cover crops and not just seeing it as something you're supposed to do when growing organic/no-till. Using cover crops in containers, IMO, is often a...

    Clover topping?

Most articles of this nature that provide the best info are not about cannabis. However, it's not exactly difficult to figure out what benefit growing multiple plants in a pot has if those other plants are still in their infancy. Newly planted cover crops aren't doing much except pulling...

Do all nanners look the same?

That helps me a great deal actually. that looks exactly like what I am seeing. That yellow cuttlefish looking cocksucker.

    Question about compost

Yea, absolutely source it locally if possible. Go a couple miles outside town and find some smallish organic farms and I guarantee they have some good compost.

    Question about compost

I'd suggest not because you never know what kind of shit people put on their lawns. Pesticides, fungicides, synthetic fert, etc will all be present in that compost. Nevermind the pet waste and possible bad guy bacteria or diseases. This is especially true if you say you've seen plastic in it...

    Clover topping?

Nitrogen fixers like legumes aren't beneficial until they die because all the N gets stored as ammonia in the root nodules which is then released upon death/decomposition and being in ammonia form, it immediately plant available. Sowing cover crops at the same time you sow your cannabis does...

    Official Gaia Green Grow Method

I realize this comment is a few months old, but I am harvesting some plants and am not sure how to best reuse the soil (pots, not beds). Is it better to pull the root ball and reclaim as much soil as possible off of it or leave the root ball to decompose in a more no-till fashion, thereby...

Fabric pots starting to get mould

Ah, the old mechanics trick to test what fluid is leaking from your car.

Fabric pots starting to get mould

I grow straight organic soil with RO water and all my fabric pots wind up looking like this, indoors or out. As long as you have good airflow and they aren't sitting in puddles of water for an extended time, you'll be fine. Just make sure you have a fan that circulates air at the soil level.

Do all nanners look the same?

I have a few plants in week 8ish of flower and recently discovered seeds which then led me to discovering nanners. Being so late in the plants life, as well as the fact that I've found at least one mature seed in every plant (only one plant so far has an eggregious amount of seeds), I am just...

    Drying buds without a fan

I also think you need a fan. It's not the fresh air that you need, it's the air circulation. It shouldn't be hard to find a cheap fan for <$20.

Top dress from tea smells like mildew?

I get the same thing. If I add Fish Sh!t or Neptunes Harvest to the tea....it smells like fishy mildew for a day or two. Pretty sure plants don't have noses so I doubt they care and as long as your tea is made right, it should be fine. It's a bit of a pain in the ass when the "sludge" as you...

Recover from fungus gnat damage mid flower

Ah, I didn't think to put a shit ton of traps out. I just put one on each pot. I've got enough ideas swimming around in my head on controlling them going forward, I think. I am more worried that I am too late for this plant and it's going to die before it really matures. It's sticky, stinky...

Hell, yesterday was the first day I watered since LAST Sunday just because I was being overly cautious about overwatering.

Recover from fungus gnat damage mid flower

What would cause that other than the gnat larvae because I have fabric pots so it shouldn't be rootbound. I keep them raised out of the trays so they don't sit in runoff. When I bottom water, I let them sit until everything is soaked up then raise them up again.

Recover from fungus gnat damage mid flower

What would you define as a severe infestation? The past two days I have found a larvae outside of the pots. One was dangling from the side and the other was drowning in the runoff. The first round of sticky traps I put out had a healthy smattering of them. Not covered, but if I had to guess...

Recover from fungus gnat damage mid flower

The yellowing is pretty much all over the plant, not just limited to the top. It's not every single leaf, but most of them. I've run the gamut of deficiency pictures and once I found out how bad gnats are, I assumed they were the cause since one of the first signs of a bad infestation is...
